The founder cum first owner Ng Kok Kheong, who at his age of 58 years old currently, been initially stepped into the f&b field at his 25th of age began as a trainee touched the cantonese roasted career at SS2, Petaling Jaya in the year of 1991. Then running his (with wife Chew Hwa) very owned roasted mix foodstall at Taman Mayang Jaya named “Hwa Keong Roasted” in the year of 1992 stayed about 17 years on the same ground. Later-on running their chinese coffee shop (kopitiam) at Puchong, Selangor for another 13 years (2010-2023), with their roasted mix stall running by Ken Pong Boon Kean who been generation passed onto recipes by Kok Kheong, also assisted by son Alex Ng running in a families team with patience.

With experiences & recipes on-hand, added vision to further expose in the career and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry locally especially the cantonese roasted field enabled them (Kok Kheong, Chew Hwa, Ken Pong & Alex Ng) decided then successfully established their families-run Cantonese (HK) Roasted Eating House officially named the “Restoran Hwa Keong” (by Restoran Damai Utama) at Mayang Oasis Commercial Center, Petaling Jaya in the early of year 2024 serving all their signatures to the public. And finally being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year of 2024 on the middle nation at Selangor.

In this Hwa Keong Cantonese (HK) Roasted Eating House, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus will be their signature “Roasted Duck” which most wanted by their regulars here.
