The local originated Ms. Jean Pang Shack Chang (born 1974), together with younger sister Ms. Pang Shack Cheak (born 1978) both were the founders and recent immediate owners of this recommended Hakka Stuffed Beancurds specialised eating house “Ah Bao Hakka Yong Tau Fu” at Taman Akasia, Bukit Siput presenting their very authentic family’s home recipe selections to the locals and visitors now under a roof in manner since year 2017. Jean Pang Shack Chang, who all the while having great interest in eatery & chefing, also being practised as their family’s chef in-house since her age of 9 years old. Later-on stepped into the f&b industry in year 2010 at her 36th running their partnership northern’s delicacy restaurant “Penang Flavours” in Subang Jaya, Selangor spent about 5 years experienced in the career, where she sharpen her skills in the field.

With the mission to have her very owned eating place, added with her interest in the industry and wishing to expose family’s generations traditional Hakka recipes. Also foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry and supports from family & sister allowed Jean Pang in year 2017 bodied-up with sister Shack Cheak running their very owned foodstall along Jalan Sultan, Segamat. Then further their exposure successfully established very first & owned eating house named “Ah Bao Hakka Yong Tau Fu” restaurant along Jalan Akasia, Johor continue serving their signature Hakka stuffed beancurd selections & other home recipes to the public.

In this Ah Bao Hakka Yong Tau Fu, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus surely will be their family’s generations traditional recipes on “Hakka Stuffed Beancurds” or “Yong Tau Fu”. In-house home recipe mixtures of pork & fish marinated with 8 secret ingredients, stuffed insided with their best 12 choices of yong tau fu selections such as Deep Fried Beancurd, Eggplant, Lady Finger, Red Chilli, Boiled Chicken Egg, Lotus Root, Long Bean, Mushroom, Dried Beancurd (Tau Pok), Wantan/Dumpling & Lemon Grass ets, then finally served after deep fried either taken with noodle soup, curry or dry kon lou will be on customer’s options you must try when reached Segamat, Johor.

Other than noodles and yong tau fu, the Pang sisters also introduced their newly brought into the market on their family’s recipe “Hakka Ground Tea” or locally named ‘Lei Cha’.
