Thomas Chang, also the founder, who at his age of only 36 years old currently, been touched the f&b industry since teenage helping parents in their noodle stall (still on-going) at hometown Bidor, Perak. Then fully stepped into the career at his 26th of age running his very first owned pan mee stall at Taman Ipoh in year 2008 wishing to expose further in the field.

With Thomas’s vision to have his very owned noodle house, also who wanted go further in the industry and added with foreseeing the positive market opportunity in the field made him in year 2015 bodied-up with brother Jim Chang established their very first pan mee eating house named “Restoran Hoong Pan Mee” at Station 18, Ipoh. Then another outlet after 2 years at Pinji area in year 2017. Later-on joined by brother JS Chang to run their brothers’ 3rd noodle house in year 2018 at Falim, Ipoh (Perak) serving all their home recipe Pan Mee menu selections to the public in better manner.

In this Hoong Pan Mee, the founder’s very first top recommended in menus will be their famous “Hoong Dry Pan Mee” which most wanted by their regulars. Homemade tiny round flour-made noodles boil-cooked, then mixed with their in-house soy sauce mixture broth and served topped with home-fried minced pork, black fungus shredded, deep-fried crispy ikan bilis, mushroom shredded, meat ball, veges. Finally taken with a half-boiled chicken egg on-top & sided with bowl of their 8 hours boiled soup base brings a complete set of their wonderful fair salty & sweet tasty pan mee into mouth that you must try when reached Ipoh, Perak.

Secondly will be their “Signature Spicy Soup Pan Mee”, which among the restaurant’s  daily top seller favourite by the visitors recently. In-house hours boiled soup base prepared mixed into homemade spicy paste, then serve-cooked with their homemade tiny noodles (or noodles on customer’s options) and topped with pork minced, mushroom & black fungus shredded, ikan bilis, meat ball, half-boiled chicken egg and veges brings excellent flaming hot & spicy taste eatery swallowed into mouth you really cannot aside here.

Another will be their home recipe “Hakka Rice Wine Chicken Mee Suah”, which like mostly by those chinese’s Hakkas as very traditional eatery not frequently found in town nowadays. Soup base boiled mixed into chinese rice wine, cooked with Mee Suah then served sided with fresh chicken drumstick fillets, black fungus, ginger slices, chinese herbal (Gei Zhi) & a chicken egg brings exotic rice wine and delicious wine’s sweet tasty eatery you will never regret after tasted here. Neither found the better elsewhere in town.

Nonetheless, their special introduced “Tom Yam Pan Mee” also being welcomed by the market especially for those who like spicy.
