Paul Teh Tiong Hoong, also known Chef Paul who is also the restaurant’s main chef at his age of 51 years old currently, all the while having great interest in eatery & chefing began to step into the f&b industry at his 13th of age recruited as a kitchen trainee in his elder brother’s chinese cuisine restaurant in Rahang, Seremban. Then been positioned as a Chef at his twenties, also been reached other states such like Pahang to further sharpen his experiences in the field.
With Paul’s experiences hold in the career, added with his vision to have his very own eating house and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry allowed him in year 2006, at his 39th of age successfully established his first & owned chinese seafood cuisine restaurant officially named “Weng Keong” at Rasah Jaya. Later-on joined by wife Siew Mei and sister Penny assisting in the restaurant, enabled them to be recognised among the best in town by F&B E-Media in year 2018.
In this Weng Keong chinese seafood restaurant, the founder cum Main Chef Paul’s very first top recommended in menus will be their “Signature Steamed Fish with Homemade Sauce” which most wanted by the regulars. Local fresh Talapia fish with weight of about 1kg commonly selected, steamed in about 5 minutes, then served with poured onto their in-house homemade sauce paste (made from more than 10 Chef’s non-artificial, 100% natural ingredients mixture), and finally topped with cilantro veges will brings excellent fish freshness and their homemade sauce’s sweet & fair spicy taste into mouth that you must try when reached Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
