The founder Madam Chang (Wee Chong’s grandmother), who began her very simple roadside noodle stall at Port Dickson oldtown in the year 1940s introducing her handmade noodle recipes to the locals. Then moved to an untidy space along Jalan Besar at Lukut continue her exposure and started being assisted by son Mr. Thang Kaw Chai (Wee Chong’s father, commonly known Ah Kaw or Ah Jiu in Mandarin) in year 1960s where the named “Dirty Mee” known by the locals.
Thang Wee Chong, who is the family’s 3rd generation cum recent immediate owner, been touched the f&b industry since kids helping parents in their noodle stall. Later-on at his teenage fully stepped into the career, then exposed into his very first noodle house also along Jalan Besar, Lukut in year 1995 officially named “Mee Lazat Mian Jiu”. Where his wife Suang Paw began to fully aside, also assisted by their children helping in the restaurant. In order to further his exposure in the career and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry, added with the vision to let their customers to have better environment allowed Wee Chong and family successfully moved into better / wider space-shoplot at Pusat Perniagaan Lukut Utama in year 2016 (the recent location).
In this Mian Jiu Dirty Mee restaurant, the owner’s very first top recommended in menus surely will be their 4-generations (70 years) authentic family’s traditional homemade noodles “Dry Kon Lou Dirty Mee” which all the while most wanted by their regular customers. Homemade flour noodles prepared with mixtures of duck egg, boil-cooked in minutes, then mixed with their in-house soya sauce recipes and finally served sided with a bowl of their whole day long boiled pork bones soup base insided with fresh pork slices and veges will brings a wonderful complete set of their famous “Mian Jiu Dirty Mee” that you must try when reached, Lukut, Negeri Sembilan.
Secondly will be their “Signature Fried Dirty Mee”, which always the restaurant’s daily top seller favourite by the visitors from the beginning. Homemade flour-noodles boiled then deep fried, followed by 5 minutes wok-fried mixed with fresh pork slices and veges, and into their in-house soya sauce paste brings excellent delicious wok-taste and noodle’s chewing bites texture itself into mouth that you will never regret after tasted here. Neither found the same elsewhere in town.
Another will be the owner’s all time best choice, their “White Loh Mee” in soup. In-house homemade noodles cooked 15 minutes in their soup base, mixed into fresh pork slices, veges & chicken egg, taken poured into slight black vinegar will brings amazing appertising taste of Loh Mee that you cannot aside here, which taste totally different from the others in Lukut town. Also their traditional home recipe “Soup Noodles”, which homemade noodles cooked in their home soup base mixed with pork slices and veges looks normal but tasteful into mouth you should like it.
