Late Mr. Ng Boon Fatt, who also the immediate founder cum former Main Chef in the restaurant, all the while having great interest in eatery & chefing initially stepped into the f&b industry since his age of teenage began as a kitchen trainee in his sister’s chinese cuisine restaurant in hometown Kuantan. Later-on being positioned as Chinese Cuisine Chef at his 22nd of age, also been reached Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bharu further his exposure in the career, also to sharpen his culinary/chefing experience in the field before back to hometown Kuantan tried running his very first owned eating place at Air Putih for only few years.

While in year 1997, with the experiences hold by Boon Fatt and on vision to go further in the career, also added with the supports from wife Amber Sun and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry allowed the couple (Boon Fatt & Amber) successfully established their half shop eating house named “Mr. Specky ThaiFood Restaurant” at Jalan Beserah, Kuantan serving all their chef’s chinese & thai seafood menus. Then expanded into double storey double lots restaurant currently after 20 years. Also being recognised among the best “Crabs Specialist” in East Coast year 2018.

In this Mr. Specky eating house, the owner Amber’s very first top recommended in menus surely will be their famous “Spicy Crabs” which most wanted by the visitors. Local or Indonesia imported fresh meat crabs with weight in about 500grams selected, stir-cooked in about 10 minutes mixed with their in-house prepared chef’s home recipe spicy sauce, then added into chicken egg, finally served sided with mini deep fried Mantou (Buns) will brings an exotic wonderful crabs eatery with delicious sweet & fair spicy taste into mouth that you must try when reached Kuantan, Pahang.
