Talking about “French Cuisine”, most of the world will cannot aside their delicious authentic Pastry selections which being famously practised everywhere since decades. But at their dessert corner, you also cannot missed wonderful “French Dessert” that favourite by most of the locals recently on our nation. Here in Pahang, we found and being successfully recognised among the best recommended French Dessert House “Confection” running by the 3 youngsters in Kuantan. Having great positive response from the public recently.

The Kuantan, Pahang originated Mr. Lo Hiok Leong (born 1988), was the initial concept founder, together with his ex-classmates Mr. Chin Jia Hao (born 1988) and Mr. Chin Kok Onn (born 1988) are the immediate owners of this conceptual premium French’s Dessert Cafeteria “Confection Dessert House” at Seri Teruntum, Kuantan introducing most of their chef’s authentic French, Italian & other signature desserts, pastries and beverages menu to the locals & visitors all under a roof.

Founder Lo Hiok Leong, who at his age of only 30 years old currently, all the while having interest in eatery & culinary initially been touched the f&b industry at his 26th of age in year 2014 running his very owned roadside foodstall selling bubble milk tea & Lok-Lok eateries along Kg. Jawa (Kuantan) for a year where he experienced the career. While partner Chin Jia Hao, who also having interest in eatery & chefing been stepped into this industry at his 21st of age recruited himself began as a kitchen trainee in a chinese cuisine restaurant at Kuala Lumpur stayed few years there.

With the vision to have their very first owned cafeteria, added with confidents on Hiok Leong’s idea & concept in setting up a premium dessert house and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry, also with their experiences in the field allowed these 3 ex-classmates Hiok Leong, Jia Hao & Kok Onn in year 2018 successfully established their first conceptual Italian Cuisine Cafeteria officially named “Confection Dessert House” along Jalan Seri Teruntum, Kuantan. Also being recognised among the best dessert house in town by F&B E-Media.

In this Confection cafeteria, the founder Hiok Leong’s very first top recommended in menus will be their famous “Chocolate & Peanut Waffle” which like by their regular customers. Homemade waffle from the mixtures of flour, chicken egg & fresh milk prepared in about 7 minutes baked, topped with their home recipe chocolate paste and peanut butter (locals) in layer, finally served with peanut salted toppings and sided with chocolate ice-cream and homemade oat crumble will brings wonderful and delicious sweet taste dessert eatery that you must try when reached Kuantan, Pahang.

In order to meet the local’s demand and to make everyone affordable, they also introduced their “Honey Waffle” which among the cafe’s daily top seller all the while. Homemade waffle served with pure honey and homemade chantily cream, also toppings of vanilla ice-cream & oat crumble will also another excellent dessert selection favourite by the locals that you cannot aside here.

Another will be their signature custard based dessert “Creme Brulee”, which prepared in-house on their chef’s recipes that neither found the same nor better in town. Mixtures of chicken egg, cream & sugar in home recipe baked in an hour, then topped onto sugar and finally served after seconds burned on topping will brings unbelievable smooth, tasty & creamy dessert eatery that you will never regret after tasted here. Totally different from the others found in town, especially the custard’s smoothness & texture into mouth.

Moreover, their chef’s all time favourite recommended among Italian dessert will be their best western cookies “Pizzookie” with chocolate chips. Mixtures of wheat flour, butter, red-sugar, egg yolk & imported chocolate home-baked in about 15-20 minutes, then served topped with ice-cream (flavour on options) will brings the best crunchy bites & nice chocolate taste of cookie that most wanted by the visitors recently.
