The founder Tan Huan Seng or commonly known Chef Tan, who at his age of 62 years old currently, all the while having great interest in eatery & chefing field initially been touched the f&b industry at his 15th of age selling chicken rice for about 2 years before fully stepped into the career began as a kitchen trainee in year 1973 (at his 17th of age) experienced in chinese & western cuisines spent few years to be positioned as Chef at his 19 years old. Also been reached Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur etc to further his exposure in the field before reached Kuantan, Pahang.
While in year 1996, Chef Tan (Tan Huan Seng) who on his vision to have his very own eating place, added with the more than 20 years experiences in the career at that point of time and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry allowed him successfully established his very first & owned (Local) chinese seafood restaurant named “Beserah Seafood Restaurant” at Batu Hitam, Pahang started to introduce his home recipes to the locals reached year 2013. Then expanded into Kuantan township in year 2014 along Jalan Beserah Ria, Air Putih2 in better condition continued his exposure in the career. Finally being recognised among the best no pork no lard chinese seafood restaurant in East Coast for year 2018 by the F&B E-Media.
In this Beserah 268 Restaurant, the founder Chef Tan’s very first top recommended in menus will be their famous “Indonesian Curry Ming Prawn” which most wanted by the locals all the while. Fresh sea Ming Prawn in size commonly selected, cooked with their chef’s homemade curry paste recipe prepared from more than 10 ingredients mixture, poured into fresh milk & belacan, finally served boiled in claypot and sided with deep fried pandan buns (chinese Mantou) will brings excellent curry smoothness with fair spicy taste and prawn’s texturing bites into mouth that you must try when reached Kuantan, Pahang.
