Chan Fook San or commonly known Chef Fook San, who at his age of 45 years old currently, been influenced by elder brother (who was a chef) added with his interest in eatery & chefing/culinary made him initially stepped into the f&b industry at his 15th of age in year 1988 began as a kitchen trainee in a chinese cuisine restaurant at hometown Raub, Pahang. Later being positioned as a Chef at his twenties, also been reached Kuala Lumpur touched the economic/mixed rice cuisine helping his brother, then owned a foodstall for a year in Serdang (KL) before returned to Raub continue his exposure in the career.
With the vision to have their very owned eating house, added with Chef Fook San’s more than 20 years experiences in the field and Mei Leng’s (Fook San’s wife) ability in all the while worked in restaurant’s front floor for more than 10 years, also foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry allowed the couple in year 2013 successfully established their very first & owned chinese seafood cuisine eating house officially named “Restaurant How Sei Kei” along Kg. Sungai Lui, Raub introducing their signatures all on chef’s recipes. Finally being recognised by the F&B E-Media for year 2018 in East Coast.
In this How Sei Kei, the founder cum Chef Fook San’s very first top recommended in menus will be their famous “Nyonya Assam Fish” which most wanted by the locals.
