The owner Kelly Wong who grown up in a f&b family, while father (an experienced Chinese Cuisine Chef) all the while in the industry for more than 40 years at hometown Chaah, Johor enabled Kelly since kid been touched the industry helping in their family restaurant. Later-on fully stepped into the Vegetables Supplies Trading Industry with husband Eng Teng for than 10 years in Johor Bahru, still on-going.

With the vision to have their very first and owned restaurant locally, added with the strength/advantage in raw material (vegetables supplies) and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry. Also with their elder brother Eng Yee’s more than 40 years experiences in the career allowed them to bodied-up and successfully established their very owned Chinese Noodle & Rice eating place officially named “Restoran Teng Garden” at Permas Jaya, Johor in year 2019 introducing not only their hometown wantan noodles & curry laksa recipes, but also their Chef’s all time signature menus to the market.

In this Teng Garden chinese cuisine restaurant, the owners’ very first recommended in menus will be their Chef’s home recipe “Wantan Mee” to various their options in the eating house. Special-made Yong Peng Fook Chew egg-made noodles selected, boil-cooked then served with their home-mixed soy sauce, topped with roasted pork (char siew), minced pork, veges & fried pork lard and finally sided with a bowl of their 2 hours boiled hot soup base with their in-house hand-wrapped pork dumpling (wantan) will be a wonderful set of their Wantan Mee that you should have a try when reached Johor Bahru.

Secondly will be their very signature homemade “Curry Laksa Noodles”, which most wanted by the locals. Homemade curry paste prepared into curry soup broth in-house, served with selected Yong Peng Fook Chew yellow round noodles (also known Hokkien Mee), topped-sided with dried beancurds (tau pok), fish balls, meat balls, dried beancurd sheets, beansprouts, boiled chicken egg and taken mixed into their homemade sambal paste, poured into slight coconut milk (santan) will brings excellent laksa salty and curry fair spicy taste of eatery that you will never regret after tasted here.

Another Chef’s homemade curry paste prepared from more than 10 spices mixture, cooked with local fresh red-fish head, and finally served boiled in claypot mixed with cabbages, dried beancurds (tau pok), lady fingers, eggplants and beancurd sheets, and into fresh coconut milk (santan) will brings unbelievable tasty claypot curry tasty eatery that you neither found the same in town.
