The owner Ng Wooi Kuan, who at his age of 35 years old currently, been initially touched the f&b industry at his teenage helping his parents who running their very authentic hokkien mee stall in a kopitiam (Chinese Coffee Shop) in end-1990s at Prai, Pulau Pinang enabled Wooi Kuan practically experienced the field. Then fully stepped into the career and been taken up the responsibility to continue parent’s noodle stall in year 2003 at his 19th of age as the 2nd generation. Later-on being assisted by wife June Fong after two years in 2005.

With their vision to have their very own noodle house locally, added with the family home recipes on hand and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry. Also Wooi Kuan’s great interest in eatery/culinary and wishing to further expose their family’s home recipes in the market allowed the couple (Wooi Kuan & June Fong) in year 2018 decided and successfully established their very first and owned noodle house officially named the “Kuan Noodles House” at hometown Kota Permai, Bukit Mertajam introducing not only their famous Hokkien Prawn Noodles, but also their other signature noodles option to the locals. Finally being recognised among the best in town by the F&B E-Media for the year 2019 in the northern nation.

In this Kuan Noodles House, the founders cum owners’s very first top recommended in menus surely will be their more than 20 years family’s home recipe of “Hokkien Prawn Noodles Soup” which most wanted by the locals all the while.
