The founder cum owner Hui Yee Kooi, who at her age of 50 years old currently, all the while grown-up in a f&b family where her grandparents was running their very traditional hainanese chicken rice stall in a kopitiam (Chinese Coffee Shop) in year 1950s at Georgetown. Then into next generation (Yee Kooi’s parents) in the year 1990s made Yee Kooi since teenage having great interest in eatery and finally stepped into the f&b industry at her 46th of age in year 2015 running her very own local fusion restaurant “Street Deli Cafe” stayed few years there presenting her home self-studies recipes to the public.

With Yee Kooi’s vision to further her exposure in the career, added with experiences & home recipes on hand and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry locally enabled her in year 2018 moved into wider and better environment conceptual restaurant at Vantage, Tanjung Tokong then re-established her eating house officially named the “Shell Out & Cafe” not only serving her signature local Malaysian Cuisine selections, but also bringing the Shell Out concept eatery cuisine into the northern on their home recipes, also fully assisted by her sister Anjo Hui. Finally being recognized among the best in town by the F&B E-Media in the year 2019 at the northern nation.

In this Shell Out & Cafe, the founder’s very first top recommended in menus surely will be their very famous “Shell Out” seafoods menu to be served in sauce options of such Butter Garlic, Sambal (Chef’s recommended), Black Pepper, Curry or Korean Spicy which on customer’s preference.
