Chicken rice also known ‘Nasi Ayam’ is one of the traditional and most welcome food around the world, whereas bean sprouts chicken rice surely the most favourite by Malaysians especially for Chinese citizens since hundreds years ago also famously known nowadays as the ‘Ipoh Bean Sprouts Chicken Rice’ or ‘Nga Choi Kai’.

 

Mr. Wong Hon Leng and Ms. Ho Lai Keng, the couple husband and wife are the founders and the owners of the “Nasi Ayam Sungai Buloh” serving the best recommended chicken rice at Sungai Buloh, Selangor.  Ms. Ho who grown up in the ‘chicken rice family’ has experienced her career since her teenager’s life started to help in her family chicken rice restaurant in Rawang, Selangor.  In the year 1990 at her age of about 20s, she established her very 1st owned chicken rice restaurant partnership with her cousin named the ‘Sang Kee Chicken Rice’ at Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.  While her husband Mr. Wong who initially a ‘raw market retailer and supplier’ trying to stepped into the chicken rice industry and finally together with his wife Ms. Ho established their “Nasi Ayam Sungai Buloh” in the year 1993 at Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh and started to promote their traditional bean sprouts chicken rice to the local citizens.  After about 20 years, today their chicken rice has become one of the most favourite food not only for local residents but also attracted several comers throughout nationwide.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For sure according to the restaurant owner Mr. Wong, chicken rice will always cannot be seperated with its perfect match bean sprouts so to known as ‘Nga Choi Kai’ or Bean Sprouts Chicken Rice in our country and it has been a very famous local recommended food trademark.  Bean sprouts which delivered daily all the way from Ipoh, Perak will be the only best choice to serve together with their chicken rice.  Chicken weigh of 2 to 2.3 kilo will be the best choice to topped with their own recipe sauce to present the top class ‘nasi ayam’.   According to the Hainanese (also known as the founder of steamed chicken rice), a perfect chicken rice meal will only complete with tasty chili ginger sauce.  Nonetheless, the home made recipe chili sauce in the restaurant will always the wanted by their customers.  Moreover, the ‘Rice’ for a tasty chicken rice also the main ‘starring’ which boiled evenly mixed with ginger slice, planta, garlic and onion oil.  The last but not least, their chicken soup served with fresh fish ball and meat ball also the trademark of the Nasi Ayam Sungai Buloh.
