The founder cum owner Chan Kok Liong (Chef Liong), also the restaurant’s Main Chef who at his age of 41 years old currently, been initially stepped into the f&b industry at his 15th of age touched the chinese seafood & dim sum field at Johor Bahru began as a kitchen trainee. Also being exposed into Singapore to further his exposure in the career, then positioned as a Chef at his 28th of age. Been running a chinese seafood eating house and afterwards a cafeteria at Johor Bahru in year 2012 for few years experienced the field thoroughly.

With vision to have his extended chinese seafood restaurant locally, added with his more than 25 years experiences & recipes on-hand and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry along the lower southern (Desaru, Johor) allowed Chef Liong decided then bodied-up with another 6 partners in year 2018 successfully established their very first premium Chinese Seafood Restaurant officially named it the “Desaru Seafood Corner” along Jalan Semarak, Bandar Penawar introducing all their signature selections to the public in town. Finally being recognised among the best in town by the F&B E-Media for the year 2020 in the lower southern nation.

In this Desaru Seafood Corner, the owner’s very first top recommended in menus will be their famous “Golden Lobster” also known Pumpkin Lobster which most wanted by their regulars.
