The founder cum owner Ong Yong Seang, who at his age of 41 years old currently, been initially touched the f&b industry at his 24th of age in year 2003 helping his mother (whose running noodles stall in a night market at Bukit Mertajam), where Yong Seang began to experienced the field. Then fully stepped into the career took over the noodles stall after few years, which still on-going recently.

With vision to have own eating place locally, added with experiences on-hand in the industry and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry on market trend especially the Chinese Charcoal BBQ Stick, after discussion & support from Teik Ti (who also all the while interested in eatery) allowed them later-on decided then successfully established their BBQ Stick Stall in a foodcourt at Icon City, Pulau Pinang in year 2019, subsequently joined by Wey Lee and Khang Wei running in a team. And expanded into their very first owned eating house officially named the “Kaoguan Stick BBQ Restaurant” along Pusat Perniagaan Gemilang, Bukit Mertajam in the following year 2020 continue presenting their recipes to the locals.
