Mr. Lee Eng Lin (Ah Lee) with the assist by his wife Ms. Jenny Chai Pei Sun owned their very own and fomous seafood steamboat restaurant named “Bee Ho Steamboat Restaurant” for more than 10 years at Subang Jaya SS15, Petaling Jaya.

 

Ah Lee who formerly a metal creation factory worker since his age of 17 years old has spent up to 6 years and finally found his great interest in food industry and cooking career decided to quit his job in the year 2000.  After that, he stepped into the food industry by joining his brother steamboat restaurant at Puchong, Petaling Jaya as helper and more explore in seafood corner, how to choose and handling fresh seafood from live to on-plate ready to served.  After months experience in the restaurant, Ah Lee not only experienced how to handle seafood and cooking but also learnt how to operate a steamboat restaurant.  Consequently in the year 2001, with assistant by both his elder brother, Ah Lee successfully established his very 1st seafood “Bee Ho Steamboat Restaurant” at Subang Jaya.  Later also assisted by Jenny, his wife who sacrificed her nail technician creator career and joined the steamboat restaurant.  From there he trying to explore himself and also improved in his cooking profession.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Since years 1990s, steamboat became a very famous and favourite choice by Malaysian locals especially during night and after rainny days.  Serving fresh seafood and variety obsolute food also the main secret towards succeed for a steamboat restaurant.  In Bee Ho, more than 40 variety food choices and top class fresh seafood let their restaurant occupied by only 3 table formerly and nowadays to occupy up to 30 tables daily.  In the seafood corner, their fish meat slice, hand made fish ball, fish noodle, crabs and shell type name ‘Lala’ are the most recommended in the restaurant.  For non-halal section, the pork slice and booming meat ball also known ‘Jiong Pao Ball’ are those never missed by their regular customers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Moreover in the fried kitchen, their ‘Fried Mee Hon with Crab’ recipe by Ah Lee is one of the top selling in the menu.  The ‘Premium Soup Lala’ boiled mixed with fresh giant Lala and red wine also the most wanted by their visitors.  According to the restaurant owner Ah Lee and Jenny, their steamboat soup base is wholly boiled with the mixture of chicken and fish without any preservative and unhealthy ingredient.  Varieties fresh seafood and obsolute foods will only produce their very top clear eatery and tasty stock boiled in a ‘good clear soup base’.
