The founder cum first owner Thanyarat Thama, or well-known as Teera who at her age of 41 years old currently been reached Johor Bahru, Malaysia in the year 2001 all the while having interest in eatery & culinary, later-on stepped into the f&b career at her age of 25th began from her very home-based (homemade) Thai’s traditional eateries presenting her grandmother’s (Khunya) home recipes to the public. Then started her very first eating place “Khunya Lifestyle Shop” at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Skudai in the year 2015 introducing her Thai cuisines selection to the locals for about 2 years. Then running her food stall in a chinese coffee shop at Gelang Patah, again at Bukit Indah, Johor in the year 2017 and 2018 respectively where “Khunya Thai Kitchen” in establishment. Followed by running her eating place at Taman Sutera in the year 2019 stayed about 3 years there continued her exposure in the field with her patience.

With experiences & recipes on-hand, added wishing to bring more of her hometown (Thailand) recipes on table and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry locally to further expose in her career made Teera decided then successfully expanded & moved into her very owned Thai Cuisine Restaurant “Khunya Thai Kitchen” at Taman Nusa Bestari along Skudai, Johor continue presenting her signatures to the market where her partner Sam Phua joined, also began their Thai homemade sauce paste production & supply in the year 2021. Finally being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year 2022 in the southern nation.

In this Khunya Thai Kitchen, the founder’s very first top recommended in menus will be their signature “Fried Mackerel” served with fresh vegetables & special sauce which most wanted by their regulars from the beginning.
