The founder cum first owner Jayson Chong Yong Sheng, who at his age of 32 years old currently, is an Interior Designer all the while having interest in eatery & culinary been initially touched the f&b industry at his 13th of age running his bubble milk tea kiosk/stall in a mall at hometown Malacca with his sister in the year 2003 for a year where he realised the market opportunity in the field. With vision to have his own eating house locally, also with mother’s very home recipes on-hand and wishing to expose in the f&b career enabled Jayson Chong again decided and successfully established his very first own Nanyang Cuisine Eating House/Restaurant officially named the “Grandpak Kopitiam” at Taman Arked Sutera Jaya, Malacca in the mid-year of 2022 introducing all their home recipes to the public, fully assisted by his wife Jaslyn Tai on the floor. And being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year 2022 in the middle southern nation at Malacca.

In this Grandpak Kopitiam, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus will be their hometown Malacca local’s famous traditional peranakan recipe on “Nyonya Laksa” which most wanted by the visitors.
