The first founder cum owner Alvin Lau Kok Fu, who at his age of 32 years old currently, been initially stepped into the f&b industry at his 17th of age in the year 2008 began as a kitchen trainee touched the chinese & western cuisines field. Later-on being positioned as a Chef at his 23rd of age all the while experienced in the local chinese cuisine field with his patience along the culinary journey.

With experiences & recipes on-hand, added with vision to have his own eating house locally and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry especially in the trendy Nanyang Kopitiam field enabled Alvin Lau bodied-up with his elder brother Jeff Lau (all the while in the Telecommunication Industry) decided then successfully established their very first owned Nanyang Cuisine Coffee House officially named the “1st Kopitiam” in the year 2022 at Semenyih, Selangor. Followed by another outlet at Damai Perdana Cheras, Selangor in the same year. Then exposed into (Bai Wei Kopitiam) at Danau Desa, Kuala Lumpur in the end of year 2022, continue with another outlet at Damai Perdana Cheras in year 2023 respectively, serving all their signatures to the public. And finally being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year 2023 on the middle nation at Selangor.

In this 1st Kopitiam, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus surely will be their famous “Nanyang Breakfast Set” which in combination of their Signature Ice Coffee prepared in-house by hand-brewed with white & black coffee mixture served into ice cubes toppings of their home-freezed coffee based heart ice-cube, taken sided with their toasted Hainanese Bread with Kaya & Butter (served with homemade coconut egg paste-kaya) will be the best matching in taking the Nanyang Breakfast set here that you must have a try when reached Semenyih, Selangor.

Noodles option on customer’s preference, cooked in their 5 hour boiled curry broth (prepared with homemade curry paste into coconut milk-santan & fresh milk), toppings of local fresh river prawns (on about 200grams each), sided of beansprouts, dried beancurd (taupok), pork skin, eggplant, long bean & dried beancurd sheet, finally taken sides of their homemade dried shrimp sambal chili paste will brings wonderful sweet salty fair spicy taste with smooth curry’s swallowed of their Curry Noodle eatery that you will neither found the same elsewhere in town here.
