Later-on started her very first owned Chinese Cuisine Restaurant “Ming Palace” at Georgetown in the year 1985 at her 33th of age. Then another chinese restaurant “Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant” after few years also on the Penang Island, followed by an outlet at Sungai Petani, Kedah (on-going). Added expanded into Tropicana Golf & Country Club at Selangor and Sunway Carnival Mall at Butterworth (on-going) respectively.

With more than 50 years experiences in the career, added wishing to further her exposure in the field and foreseeing the market opportunity in the Dim Sum field enabled Madam Tham again decided then successfully established her very owned Chinese Dim Sum Restaurant officially named the “Jade Palace Dim Sum Restaurant” along the Jalan Sultan Ahmad Syah, Georgetown in the year 2019 serving all their daily fresh handmade chinese dim sum signatures to the public in manner. And finally being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year of 2024 on the northern nation at Pulau Pinang.

In this Jade Palace Dim Sum Restaurant, the owner’s very first top recommended in menus will be their “Steamed Crystal Prawn Dumpling” or commonly known the Har Kao which most wanted by their regulars.
