The first founder cum owner Terry Luke Foo Wah, who at his age of 29 years old currently, been initially touched the f&b field at his 17th of age worked as a part-timer in a chinese coffee shop (kopitiam) at hometown Ipoh, Perak. Then reached Taiwan stayed 2 years graduated in the Culinary Management field, also been reached Singapore to further expose in the career and finally spent about 10 years at home country Malaysia all the while experienced in the F&B Management and Marketing field with his patience. While Renee Hooi E-Yan who also been stepped into the field since her 18th of age all the while exposed on the front floor began in a kopitiam, then experienced the desserts, western cuisines and finally the beverages field thoroughly along her journey in the career.

With their experiences & interests in eatery and culinary, vision to have their very own eating house locally. Also foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry and wishing to bring Terry’s grandparents very home recipes on chicken rice enabled the couple Terry Luke and Renee Hooi decided then successfully established their very first owned Chicken Rice Shop officially named the “Ong Ong Chicken Rice” (by Ong Ong Chicken Rice S/B) at Taman Overseas Union (OUG) in the end of year 2023 serving all their signatures to the public. And finally being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year of 2024 on the middle nation at Kuala Lumpur.

In this Ong Ong Chicken Rice Shop, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus surely will be their famous “Poached Chicken” (Boiled Chicken) which most wanted by their regulars here.
