The founder cum first owner Low Bark Weng, who at his age of 55 years old currently, been initially touched the f&b field at his teenage running his roadside fried chicken stall at hometown Penang, then fully stepped into the industry at his twenties began as a kitchen trainee in a chinese cuisine restaurant at Penang where he practically experienced the career thoroughly spent decades in the field and also being reached Japan and Langkawi (Kedah) to further his exposure in the field. Later-on started his very first owned (with wife Swee Hwan) Chinese Cuisine Restaurant “Zhong Hua Lou Restaurant” in Langkawi, Kedah in the year of 2007 presenting all their home recipes to the market with their patients.

With experiences & recipes on-hand, added vision to further expose in the industry enabled them to establish another restaurant at Sungai Petani, Kedah officially named the “Zhong Hua Lou Seafood Restaurant” along the Pekan Baru in the year of 2023 bodied-up with family members (owners mentioned above) running in a family team with all their signature menus. And finally being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year of 2025 on the northern nation at Kedah.

In this Zhong Hua Lou Seafood Restaurant, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus will be their famous “Jindu Chicken” which most wanted by their regulars in selection. Local fresh chicken prepared in cutted pieces, marinated overnight in home recipes, followed by floured-up & deep fried, finally served after seconds wok-stirred with their home-mixed special salted sweet sauce paste and toppings of white sesame seeds will brings the wonderful crispy chicken bites with juicy meat’s swallowed kind of Jindu Chicken eatery that you must have a try when reached Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Another will be their “Steam Fish with Radish”, which also among the restaurant’s daily fish selection wanted by the locals in menus. Local fresh sea grouper & snapper fish (on seasonal & customer’s preference) commonly selected, cleaned then prepared in home-steamed for about 12-15 minutes (on size), served complete with their home-mixed soy sauce seasonings, toppings of salted sweet home-fried dried radish, chopped spring onion & celery leaf will always bring the nice fish’s freshness with dried radish’s salted sweet tasty swallowed in combination kind of their steam fish eatery that you will neither found the same elsewhere in town here.

Nonetheless, the owners also introduced their all time favourite local chinese’s authentic delicacy “Braised Pork Trotter” which like by most of the locals from the beginning.
