Mr. Michael Au Yih Chour who is the third genertion together with his good friend Mr. Kenji Lian Jiunn Hwa are the immediate owners of the “Restoran Tangkak Beef Noodle” in Kuala Lumpur.
Michael’s grandfather, Mr. Au who was the holder of the Au Family beef mixed noodle recipe later on in the year of 1976 explored by his son (Michael’s father) Mr. Au Ah Kuang established his very initial beef noodle food stall at Jalan Payamas, Tangkak at his age of 28 years old. From there, Michael and his brothers touched the industry by helping his father in the food stall since childhood after school and holidays time. After about 20 years in the year 1997, they exposed into shoplot at Jalan Solok (recent main branch), Tangkak well known as Restoran Kuang Fei (Tangkak Beef Noodle). Later Michael’s oldest brother established the 2nd outlet at Melaka, then 2nd elder brother established another outlet at Kuang, Johor.
While Michael who generated the Au Family beef noodle recipe since his secondary education, left his hometown Tangkak to further his studies in Kuala Lumpur at his age of 19 years old graduated at business bachelor degree level then experienced in direct selling industry for about 2 years. With the mission to expose further his grandfather and father home traditional recipe to nationwide, he decided to quit his profession afterwards formed up with Kenji who originated from Muar, a former experienced shipping production training house executive, in the year 2008 established their “Restoran Tangkak Beef Noodle” which is also the 4th outlet for the Au family, at Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur then moved to Taman Maluri in the year 2011.
In the restaurant, for sure the top recommended will be the Au family home recipe traditional Tangkak Beef Noodle in soup base boiled with their ‘secret recipe’ which consists of several herbals mixed with fresh ingredients boiled about 2 hours together with the bones and meats. The beef mixed in the restaurant made up from the choices of fresh beef brisket, shin, stomach, tendon, tenderloin and also meat ball served with noodles either in soup or dry (kon lou). 100% local fresh beef meats and beef mixs used by the restaurant too one of the emphasise princip by them to bring the best eatery to their visitors. Besides, the curry chicken rice also one of the top menu in the restaurant, recipe from Michael friend’s mother all the way from Thailand.
