The local origin Mr. Liong Ah Choy from Kuala Lumpur, who is the founder and the immediate owner of the named “Sin Kie Seafood Restaurant” at Bentong, Pahang since the millenium year.
Mr. Liong who formerly only a local public transport (taxi) driver in the year 1980s to 1990s travelled along Kuala Lumpur and Genting Highland, Pahang with the ambition to become a successful enterpreneur in food & beverage industry. He likes eatery since childhood obviously realised his interest in the industry given him a chance around his age of about 40s met one of his friend who also interested in the industry grapped the opportunity then established their very first chinese cuisine restaurant at Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highland Pahang in the millenium year 2000 named the “Kuan Kee Restaurant” operated for about 2 years before Mr. Liong quit.
Understand the market demand and the culture, Mr. Liong later in the year 2002 founded an destablished his very own seafood restaurant recently well known as the “Sin Kie Seafood Restaurant” serving the exotic chinese cuisine and local’s nature seafood to the visitors too at Gohtong Jaya, Pahang. In assist by his main chef Mr. Ee Soo Ming (Chef Ee), who originated from the state of Johor stepped into the industry since his age of 17 years old in the year 1993 helping in his relative’s Tom Yam Seafood Restaurant for about six years then further exposed himself reached Gohtong Jaya in the year 1998 to join the Master Leong Restaurant as beginner chef under the guidance by his ‘Master Leong’ in his restaurant itself. Later on joined Mr. Liong in the Sin Kie Seafood Restaurant as main chef in the year 2005.
With the great assist by the sincere from Chef Ee, they presenting lots of Malaysia Best food not only to the locals but also tourists from around the world. The very 1st top recommended in the restaurant will be their Signature Fried Hor Fan in wet served with fresh prawn, chicken and octopus. The ‘Chee Cheong Fun’ used to replace hor fan deep fried with garlic the poured topped with their recipe wet sauce with egg brings the best ever taste eatery wanted by most of their regulars.
