Mr. Eugene Tan Yong Chin who is local Johor origin with his age of 34 years old currently is the founder and owner of the “East West Seafood Restaurant” located at Taman Maju Jaya serving the public and visitors their signature exotic menus.

The formerly an chinese herbal entrepreneur staying in the industry for about 6 years, Mr. Eugene Tan since teenagers interested in eatery and forseeing not much local signature foods in his hometown Johor Bahru enable to attract visitors, therefore grapped the market opportunity in the year 2011 quit his career and initially stepped into the food and beverage industry at his age of 31 years old presenting his home recipe menus to the public. Then established his very first and own restaurant at Jalan Maju, Johor known the “East West Seafood Restaurant”.

While sister Ms. Juliann Tan Chiew Yep with age 26 years old recently from beginning assisting brother Eugene operating their restaurant stepped into the industry in year 2011. Juliann who born in year 1988 Johor origin having extreme interest in coffee with her vision to establish a better taste coffee with low fat milk and low sugar commenced to taste most of the existing coffee in market then in the year 2013 finally successfully founded and established her own recipe coffee mix branding name “JB Pure White Coffee”.

In the restaurant, the first top recommended menu will be their home recipe bitter gourd soup using soup base boiled for a day with pork giant bones and 8 ingredients to brings the exotic taste, served with mixed inside with pork mix or fresh fish slice.  Secondly will be their Claypot Fish Head using fresh red grouper’s fish head or local red fish head boiled braised in claypot mixed with hand made taufu, veges, mushroom etc poured in home recipe sauce.  Moreover, the most wanted signature menu you cannot missed will the their ‘Noble Beancurd’, served by their home hand made taufu with herbal base souce topped of chinese herbal ‘gi ji’ and the unbelievable shark fin brings the outstanding presentation and best eatery.  For the who like fried or roast chicken must try their signatue ‘Crispy Salted Chicken’ fried using own recipe using unmatured chicken is also the top recommended in the restaurant, order by advance booking.  Nonetheless, new creation by the brother and sister is their crispy and tasty ‘Salted Egg Sotong’ chewing in bitting which found in this outstanding restaurant enable to satisfy regulars and visitors.
