‘Hand Made’ fish ball always one of the favourite food taken by locals and visitors in Malaysia.  Mr. Tee Liong Heng who originated from Segamat, Johor with age of 54 years old currently and wife Ms. Lau Foong Kum who fron Kuala Kangsar, Perak with age of 50 now are both the founders and immediate owners of the famous “Yi Xin Fish Ball Eating House” hand made fish ball in Johor Bahru.

Mr. Tee who born in year 1960 formerly was an factory worker serving in Singapore initially stepped into the food industry since his age of 20s as assistant working in a Chinese Dim Sum restaurant in Singapore for about 6 years, later on returned to home country at age of about 30 years old joined a hand made fish ball restaurant at Taman Sentosa, Johor Bahru started his hand made fish ball career experiance.  Afterwards again travelled to Singapore in order to sharpen his profession in the fish ball career.

While Ms. Lau who born in year 1964 formerly only a fulltime housewife stepped into the food and beverage industry at her age of 25 years old in year 1989 helping her elder sister in their fish ball restaurant for about five years before went Singapore to further her career.  In year 1996, Ms. Lau together with daughter Ms. Joyce establised their very 1st own fish ball food stall in the ‘San Huan Restaurant’ at Permas Jaya, Johor began their food industry enterpreneur named ‘ Yi Xin Fish Ball’ for about a year but unsuccessfull. Later in the year 2004, Ms. Lau again with husband Mr. Tee re-established their fish ball stall in ‘San Huan Restaurant’ at Taman Gaya, Johor Bahru exposed their career.  Subsequent to the great response from the public, they finally successfully founded their very first fish ball specialize restaurant known “Yi Xin Fish Ball Eating House” at Austin Height in the year 2008 in assist by daughter Ms. Joyce (elder daughter) who been experienced in year 1996 helping mother in the food stall at Permas Jaya, while younger daughter Ms. Boey stepped into the industry helping in the restaurant since the year 2012.

In this fish ball specialize restaurant, Mr. Tee’s hand made home recipe fresh fish ball and fook chew fish ball will be the top recommended in menu with amazing chewing and bitting eatery.  Fook chew fish ball which made from fresh yellow tail fish or also known ‘tau fu fish’ insided with chicken minced mixed their recipe brings the super exotic taste.  In the main course choice of soup or dry kon lau both served in best eatery, while their soup base boiled hours using fresh giant bones without preservatives and home made pork fried oil to be used in their dry kon lau present the perfect match.  Besides, several choices yong tau fu which insided with their hand made fish paste also the most wanted by the regulars and visitors.  Moreover, Curry Laksa also can be found in this restaurant to be one of the favourites by locals which served in their home recipe soup base boiled for 6 hours with giant bones, ikan bilis, yellow beans and curry paste.  Their curry laksa served in bowl with the mixture of char siew, sea shell meat, tau pok, fried fu chuk and mee or mee hun too one of their top signature recommended you must not missed when stepped into “Yi Xin Fish Ball Eating House”.
