The Perak origin Mr. Hung Miew Thai who born in the year 1973 and wife Ms. Gan Chu Kim who originated from Selangor are the founders and the recent immediate owners of the famous roasted and handmade noodle house “Kim Siang Restoran” at Nusajaya, Johor.

Mr. Hung who with age of 41 years old currently, stepped into the food industry in the year 1987 at his age of only 14 years old under employed as kopi boy in Woodland, Singapore for about 4 years.  Later on in the year 1991 Hung joined a Hainan Chicken Rice food stall in Singapore for about another 3 years explored experience in his career field.  With the mission to have his own enterpreneurship, Hung at his age of 23 years old after returned to home country established his very 1st Chicken Rice food stall in the ‘Fu Ling Kopitiam’ at Taman Daya, Johor Bahru since year 1996 for another 6 years.  In order to further strengthen his career, in the year 2003 Hung again reached Singapore joined a Chicken Rice specialist under employed for about 5 years.

While his wife Ms. Gan who initially stepped into the food industry since year 1994 selling her home recipe Wantan Mee using handmade noodles at Jalan Teratai, Taman Johor Jaya named “Kim Siang Wantan Mee” reached year 2009 together with husband, Mr. Hung joined established their very first owned “Kim Siang Restoran” at Taman Bukit Indah, Johor serving their chicken rice, roasted and Ms. Gan’s recipe handmade wantan mee and curry mee.

In this roasted noodle house, the first top recommended menus will be their charcoal Roasted Herbal Duck using 8 herbal ingredients specially the ‘Tang Gui’ been roasted 25 minutes above charcoal with perfect 2.6 kg weight fresh duck, topped outer with Hung’s recipe sugar mixed sauce brings the best eatery taste you must try.  Secondly will be their Roasted Pork Belly which roast using 5 herbal ingredients above charcoal flame for 45 minutes also the most wanted by their regulars. Besides, their Roasted Char Siew pork using about 4 secret Hung’s recipe ingredients makes the exotic taste which his visitors cannot missed when stepped into their “Kim Siang Restoran”.  While in the noodles corner, his wife’s handmade noodle Wantan Mee served topped of char siew and perfect match with soup wantan also one of the signature menus in the restaurant.  Nonetheless, the homemade Curry Mee boiled in their 20 minutes boil soup base using own recipe paste, served insider mixture of char siew, fish cake, shell meat, tau pok and fried wantan too the most wanted not only by locals, but also from outsiders especially for those who like spicy. And will be the perfect match eatery taking the curry mee with their signature sambal, makes you never forget and wishing to step again into the “Kim Siang Restoran”.
