The Selangor origin Mr. Adrian Ooi Hock Lye who born in the year 1983 together with wife Ms. Ivy Zhou Zi Wei, elder brother Mr. Herman Ooi Hock Heng and friend Mr. Chia Kok Weng are the founders and owners of the “Restoran ChangMan” serving their exotic five star chinese cuisine dim sum in Johor Bahru.

Adrian Ooi who with his age of 31 years old currently leading the team presenting the best dim sum to the public with his experienced in the profession.  Adrian who initially touched the industry since his age of 14 years old as part timer in the ‘Hoong Foong Dim Sum’ in USJ, Subang Jaya.  While in year 2000 at his 17 years old stepped into the industry full time in the dim sum restaurant for another 2 years before he joined the ‘Kam Hin Dim Sum’ at his age of 19 years old in 2002, in kitchen experienced as dim sum chef for another 2 years.  Later on been recruited into an famous chinese cuisine restaurant in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur as dim sum chef till year 2006.

In order to sharpen his profession in the field, Adrian reached Singapore in year 2006 joined the ‘Seng Kee Dim Sum’ as beginner for a year in Bedok, Singapore then moved to ‘Ka Hiong Restaurant’, finally stay 2 years in ‘Fortunate Restaurant’ incharging Dim Sum section till year 2009 then experienced in hotel field.  In the year 2010, Adrian also in Mount Faber joined leading in Fine Dinning Dim Sum then further explore his career in ‘Roxy Hotel’ serving top class dim sum menus.

Subsequent to his experiences hold and mission, Adrian at his age of 29 years old with wife Ivy, Herman Ooi and Mr. Chai bodied up to successfully established their very first and owned dim sum restaurant named “Restoran ChangMan” in the year 2012 at Johor Bahru began his enterpreneurship.

In this Chinese Dim Sum restaurant, their Signature Shark Fin Seafood Soup Dumpling will be the top recommended in menu.  Dumpling wrapped insided with crab meat, shark fin, prawn, scallop and mushroom boiled in their recipe soup base cooked with matured chicken and 4 secret ingredients brings the five star class exotic dim sum choice must try.  Secondly will be the Xiao Long Pao also known ‘Shanghai Pao’ wrapped inside with pork belly minced, ginger paste, rice wine and their signature soup base boiled with pork skin presenting the best eatery cannot missed when stepped into ChangMan dim sum restaurant.  Besides, the handmade ‘Chang Man Liu Sa Pao’ bun inside with salted egg yolk mixed butter, leaking out when bites.  Others, their Pan Fried Pork Minced Bun also one of the most wanted by their regulars.  Bun steamed inside with mixture of veges, pork belly and ginger paste then fried on pan before served brings the exotic taste.  Nonetheless, the tradition Signature Crab Roe Siew Mai too the top recommended menu served on every single table in the restaurant.  Handmade siew mai wrapped with fresh pork and prawn topped with fresh roe you never regret when visited to “Restoran ChangMan”.

Newly introducing their creation Steamed Prawn Roll with Bamboo Fungus brings the texture in bites with home recipe sweet sauce poured onto it.  And the Mini Yam Paste Bun served insided with home made smooth yam paste you must try when reach Johor Bahru.  Besides, with combination of Japanese presentation they brings into chinese Steamed Seaweed Fish Roll looks like sushi but wrapped by fresh fish meat minced brings better texture into mouth.  Another dessert will be the Hong Kong Red Bean Paste Pancake been welcome by visitors.
