No wonders Roasted Foods are always one of the locals favourite taken among religious especially Chinese citizens.  The 22 years experience in the career Mr. Ng Tian Boo who originated from the state of Perak born in year 1962 is the founder and owner of the well known “Restoran Lapan Bintang” serving his home recipe roasted pork and chicken in South Malaysia.

Ng Tian Boo who with age of 52 years old currently, was formerly in agriculture industry at his hometown, touched food industry on roasted career since year 1992 at his age of 30 years old learnt from his younger brother who is a Roasted Chef in Kuala Lumpur.  Afterwards improved and modified his own home recipe initially stepped into the f&b industry by operating his very first food stall in ‘Alisan Kopitiam’ at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Johor Bahru named “Ipoh Roasted” for about 3 years, in assisted by wife Madam Choy Lee Peng who with age of 47 recently.

In order to expose further and realised the market demand in South Malaysia, enabled Tian Boo to moved into larger food stall in the “Xiang Man Lou Restaurant” continued his explosure in the year 1996.  Subsequent to the great response from the locals and visitors, Tian Boo successfully established his very owned 1st roasted specialize shop after 3 years in the year 1999 at current location Jalan Cermai 7, Saleng with famously known as “Restoran Lapan Bintang”.

His second generation eldest son Mr. Ng Boon You who born in year 1985 with age of 29 recently and youngest son Mr. Ng Boon Kuun who on 21 years old been touched the industry since kids helping parents in the restaurant.  While Boon You (eldest son) been generation passed on father’s more than 20 years home roasted recipe operating the roasted house together with parents in Johor.

In this roasted house, the top recommended among available will be Ng’s recipe Roasted Deep Fried Chicken which cooked using 1.6-1.7kg weight fresh chicken on seven his home recipe ingredients.  Served on plate poured onto their homemade soya sauce brings the best eatery cannot missed.  Secondly will be the Roasted Pork Belly made from five secret ingredients presenting the exotic meat texture in bites, especially the crispy roasted skin level from the founder Tian Boo’s 20 years experience.  Besides, introducing another Signature Roasted Char Siew which must try when stepped into “Restoran Lapan Bintang”.  Their Roasted Char Siew also one of the most wanted by their regulars and visitors, best taken tipping with their homemade recipe char siew sauce served.  Nonetheless, White Boiled Steamed Chicken and Roasted Duck also available to variety the roasted choice in this specialize roasted house served with respective exotic sauce matched onto from Tian Boo’s home recipe.
