Ben Sin who with age of 38 years old currently, touched the f&b industry in the year 1991 at his age of 15 years old recruited himself into a bakery house as trainee baker for two years finished in the year 1993. Initially Ben stepped into the hainan chicken rice field in year 1993 reached Singapore joined the ‘Vincent Chicken Rice’ group at Jurong East, Singapore began his chicken rice career. From there, Ben Sin been given an opportunity to learn from an very experienced Hainanese chicken rice master from Hainan, China called ‘Uncle’ enabled him to further sharpen his experience in the field, later on been transferred to several branches to train their group’s chefs before he left then joined ‘Yin Kee Chicken Rice’ for another 2 years in Singapore. Afterwards also spent about three years in ‘Lui Mei Chicken Rice’ restaurant under employed to again expose before returned to home country in the year 2003.
After 10 years been strengthen his career in hainan chicken rice with experience hold enabled Ben Sin in the year 2003 at his age of 27 years old established his very first owned hainan chicken rice shop in 21 miles Kulai, Johor named “Restiran Yin Ji” serving his home recipe Hainan Chicken Rice then moved to Jalan Siantan after 6 years operating, in 2009. During year 2007 with his elder sister Vyn Sin Siew Ooi (born 1975) explore another outlet in Saleng, Johor operating only for 2 years reached 2009. While in 2008 exposed into Kelapa Sawit, Johor which still running currently. Subsequent to the great response from the public, Ben established the third outlet in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah at Jalan Pahlawan 2 in year 2010 untill 2012, replaced to have another branch with sister Vyn and brother in-law Mr. Michael Yeap Chean Wang (Vyn’s husband) from Penang, operating since year 2011 on-going currently at Jalan Kenari, Kulai. While in year 2013 another outlet in Batu Pahat formed to continued his exploresure in the industry.
