“Dim Sum” and “Pao” nowadays are foods taken frequently by not only chinese religious but also others as breakfast and during tea break.  The 30 years experience ‘Pao’ specialist Mr. Goh Pheng Hoe (Amat) together with his cousin brothers Mr. Ngu Peng Sin and Mr. Ngu Peng Mien all originated from Perak are the founders then bodied with Mr. Kan Kit Seong who from Pahang currently owned the local famous group of “Restoran Yoon Lai” dim sum throughout Malaysia.

Pheng Hoe or known Amat who born in year 1971 with his age of 43 recently, touched the f&b industry began from ‘Pao’ in the year 1984 since 13 years old reached Kuala Lumpur joined his uncle who was an pao supplier, for about 6 years.  Later on in year 1990, Amat reached Johor Bahru recruited by the ‘Hao You Dim Sum’ restaurant stepped into dim sum industry to further expose for another 3 years before established his first partnership pao and dim sum supply business in Permas Jaya, Johor for a year.  Then in year 1993 established his partnership dim sum retail in Kulai, Johor named ‘Wan Li Siang Dim Sum’ operating untill year 1999, afterwards been under employed as Dim Sum Chef in ‘Mei Er Siang’(pronoums) at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah for another year.  Subsequent to Amat’s experience hold and formed up with cousin brothers Peng Sin and Peng Mien who also dim sum chef successfully established their very owned “Restoran Yoon Lai” dim sum at Taman Kulai Utama, Jalan Anggerik in year 2002.

While Peng Sin and Peng Mien (twins brother) who also stepped into the industry in year 1992 both at age of 13 years old too joined their uncle who was supplying pao in Kuala Lumpur for about a year plus.  Then Peng Sin joined Amat in his ‘Wan Li Siang Dim Sum’ restaurant in Kulai, Johor further strengthen his profession for another 5 years before reached Singapore to further expose in 1999, then returned to home country to formed up their “Restoran Yoon Lai” in year 2002.

Ngu Peng Mien (younger brother) who born in year 1979, been recruited by ‘Sin Kee’ dim sum supply at Klang, Selangor in year 1994 at his age of 15 years old further experience in the industry reached 1996 also joined Amat in his Kulai, Johor dim sum restaurant for another 4 years.  While in millenium year 2000, Peng Mien joined ‘Mei Er Siang’ (pronouns) in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah untill 2001, afterwards their “Restoran Yoon Lai”.

Kan Kit Seong who born in year 1979, who is Peng Sin’s brother in-law formerly was in metal construction industry stepped into the food industry in year 2005 joined their Yoon Lai group as one of the owners more on operation and management side leading the Yoon Lai group of dim sum together with Amat, Peng Sin and Peng Mien established about 20 outlets currently throughout South Malaysia and reached Kuala Lumpur.

In all the Yoon Lai Dim Sum restaurant, surely their ‘Pao’ will be top recommended among menus which in options of Red Beans (Tao Sa), Char Siew, Da Pao, Lotus and Liu Sa Pao.  All handmade pao and homemade insided brings the best pao texture and best eatery must try in the restaurant.  Secondly will be their most wanted tradition dim sum selections such as Siew Mai made mixed of fresh porks and prawns, Ha Kao which outer skin flur and insided with fresh prawns all handmade recipe by Amat.  Others are their options of Dry Spicy Chicken Feets and Braised Chicken Feets are also among the most wanted by their regulars.  Moreover, Pork Ribs steamed with tomato and chilli paste brings the exotic sour and spicy taste.  Nonetheless, fresh handmade Fried Fish Ball and Fu Chuk Pork Roll made from mixture of pork minced and biscuts wrapped in fu chuk then steamed poured into with their home recipe sweet and sour sauce must try when stepped into “Restoran Yoon Lai” Dim Sum.
