The Kedah origin Mr. Chua Sing Wang who born in year 1961 together with wife, Madam Tan Swee King who are Johorean born in Muar in year 1964 both were the founders and currently are the owners of the local famous “Kedai Makanan & Minuman Yong Seng” serving under the big tree their very home recipe Mee Hun Kuey in Johor, Malaysia.
Mr. Chua who with his age of 53 years old recently, and wife Madam Tan who at her age of 50 now both touched the food industry since 30 years ago as fruit seller operating in Singapore at Jurong West started in year 1983. This couple husband and wife travelled daily between Johor Bahru and Singapore then returned lately everyday insisting their career brought into our Malaysian local fruit king ‘Durian’ to sell in neighbour country for about 15 years untill year 1998.
Tan Swee King who since kids having extreme great interest not only eating, but also cooking mee hun kuey enabled her to bodied with husband initially stepped into food and beverage industry in the year 1999 successfully established their very first and owned restaurant named “Kedai Makanan & Minuman Yong Seng” selling Swee King’s home recipe mee hun kuey. At the beginning earlier stage, the husband and wife still continued selling Durian fruit and some fried ‘Pisang Goreng’ other than mee hun kuey but subsequent to the very great response from the visitors on their noodles over some period, afterwards they have converted the restaurant into mee hun kuey specialize shop serving variety choices of mee hun kuey untill recent.
While their second generation Ms. Chua Hui Ting (elder daughter) who with age of 21 years old currently, helping parents in the restaurant since kids during school off, initially stepped into the industry at her 17 of age. And younger son Mr. Chua Choon Seng who only 17 years old now have stepped into the career two years ago assisting parents to further expose in the industry after school and during holidays.
