‘Laksa’ and ‘Seafood Noodle’ been years are among the famous traditional food taken not only by locals but also the visitors when reached Malaysia.  The 3 brothers and sister from Chu/Choo family, Mr. Eddy Choo Hill Ming (eldest brother), Ms. Catherine Choo Siew Mun both who born in Kuala Lumpur bodied with their youngest brother Mr. Eddy Chu Kah Ming who born in year 1981 in Johor, also the main chef are the founders and immediate owners of the conceptual chinese cuisine eating house “Savage Restoran” in South Malaysia, in assisting by their parents.

Their father Mr. Chu/Choo Wai Poon who originated from Kuala Lumpur born in year 1937 with age of 77 years old currently, together with his lovely wife Madam Soon Kum Lin with age of 67 recently both reached Johor and stepped into the food industry in year 1981 running their very first eating house in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah named “Mirama Restoran” serving their home recipe Laksa and Soup Noodle for about four years, subsequent to Mr. Chu/Choo health situation forced to moved into operating a food stall in ‘Kam Ho Restaurant’ (pronouns) in year 1985 for another 12 years reached 1997.

Eddy Chu the youngest son who touched the f&b industry since kids helping parents in their food stall during school off, initially stepped into the profession after his secondary education been registered himself into the ‘Ku Su’ local chinese cooking association in Kuala Lumpur at his 19 years old, spent about half year to graduate began his journey in the career.  While in year 2000, Eddy Chu reached Singapore been recruited started as kitchen helper and trainee in the ‘Singapore Marriott Hotel’ serving chinese cuisine experienced his career for another 9 years to become a Chef, left the hotel in year 2010 returned to Johor, Malaysia.

With the mission to expose parent’s home recipe and to expose further in the industry, Eddy Chu together with his eldest brother Eddy Choo who formerly a Graphic Designer and sister Catherine Choo who in Sales & Marketing succesfully established their concept eating house in July 2012 at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah (previous Mirama Restoran location) named “Savage Restoran” to begin their family enterprenuership with assisting by parents.

In this Savage eating house, the first recommended among menu surely will be their parent’s more than 30 years home recipe laksa known Savage King Laksa, which using soup base boiled for 3 hours with home made chili paste and more than 10 home recipe ingredients brings the best eatery.  Served topped mixture of chicken shreddered, boiled egg, shell meat, dry fried tau pok, tau ke, dry fried pork skin and fish cake slice will be the perfect match bowl of their exotic Laksa.  Also choices of mixed topped with whole chicken leg or drumstick which wanted by their regulars.  Secondly will be their Signature Savage Seafood Tomato Soup Noodle which is Eddy Chu’s recipe creation in menu, tomato soup base boiled for about 5 hours with chicken bones and herbals, then served topped with Lala, prawn, crispy fried shreddered egg and fresh vegetables which you never missed when reached Johor Bahru.  Others, their home cooked Chicken Curry taken either with rice or noodle also one of the most wanted by their customers, which cooked with their home made chili paste mixed-in chicken and potato presenting the exotic taste never forget after consumed.  Moreover, Signature Braised Pork rice which white rice topped with pork cube braised with their secret recipe for more than an hour then sided with salted veges and boiled egg presenting a full bowl of traditional braised pork rice you must try.  Nonetheless, in the beverage corner among the recommended in Savage King will be the home cooked Black Glutinous Rice and the Ginkgo Barley Sweet Soup both are the most wanted by their regulars when stepped into the “Savage Restoran”.
