In Malaysia, surely ‘Seafood’ is one of the local famous selection not only favourites by citizens but also attracted lots of visitors from other countries, also play an important topic attraction in our tourism growth.

The Negeri Sembilan originated Mr. Chey Num Chan who born in Seremban in year 1954 was the founder and with son Mr. Chey Po Loong (Ah Loong) who with age of 38 years old currently are the owners of the “Restoran Thian Man” fish and seafood noodles house in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Mr. Chey Num Chan who with age of 60 years old recently, been in Construction Industry for about 20 years in Singapore before returned to home country and exposed in food industry.  In year 1998, he ended his construction career returned to Malaysia then based in Johor Bahru initially stepped into the f&b industry since year 2001 spent about half year experienced the fish noodles career helping in a food stall at Taman Permas Jaya, later on in year 2002 he established his very first food stall in ‘Sin Tian Man Restaurant’ (pronouns) at Taman Permas Jaya, Johor began his explosure in the industry untill recent.

While Chey Po Loong (son) who born in year 1976 initially touched the food industry since teenager helping father in their food stall during school off.  Later on stepped into the industry began his career at his age of 30 years old in year 2006 joined his father and been generation passed onto their home recipe fish noodles.  After a year, Ah Loong further exposed to operate his owned food stall in ‘LT Kopitiam’ at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Johor for about 2 years reached 2009 serving also their home recipe fish noodles.  With his experience and mission to expose further, Ah Loong successfully established their very first and owned specialize shop in Taman Impian Emas in year 2009 named “Restoran Thian Man” serving not only their home recipe fish noodles but also other choices to suit the locals, with assisting by his lovely wife Fiona Tan Swee Moi who is locally born with age of 33 years old recently.

In this fish and seafood noodle house, the top recommended most wanted by customers will be the Signature Fish Noodle Soup which cooked in soup base boiled for about 4 hours with their 6 secret home recipe ingredients.  Served topped with Deep Fried Dolly Fish slice, shreddered egg, shreddered ginger, salted veges and tomato brings the exotic taste.  Secondly will be their Indonesian Curry Prawn Noodle cooked from home made curry paste topped with fresh sea prawn, fish cake slice and deep fried fish slice also one of the signature most wanted by their regulars especially for those who like spicy.  Besides, local Johor’s famous traditional Mi Hun Kway or also known ‘Mee Hun Kueh’ also introducing by Chey’s family in their noodle house on their own recipe served mixed of fish ball, fish cake, meat ball, ikan bilis and veges, also frequently added in their deep fried dolly fish slice as request by customers.  Nonetheless, for those who like pan mee cannot missed their Dry Kon Lou Pan Mee which mixed with in-house recipe soya sauce and served sided by a bowl of soup base with fish ball, fish cake and meat ball you never regret after consumed when stepped into the “Restoran Thian Man” fish and seafood noodle specialize shop.
