“Yong Tau Foo” the one of traditional food taken by chinese religious around the world, also known as Hakka licious traditional dish since thousand year ago.  Nowadays also been generation passed still currently taken by all Malaysians and visitors.  In South Malaysia, the local origin Johorean Mr. Yeo Heng Kit (Ah Choon) who with age of 45 years old was the founder and together with his lovely wife Madam Wong Kwee Moi, age 44, are the recent owners of the restaurant “Yong Tau Foo Ah Choon” introducing their home recipe to the locals.

Mr. Yeo or known Ah Choon who born in year 1970, initially stepped into the food industry since year 1988 at his age of 18 years old under-employed helping sister and brother in-law in a restaurant ‘Mei Le Yong Tau Foo’(pronouns) at Johor Bahru serving meat ball noodles and yong tau foo for about five years than bodied-up to expose further as business partners.  From there, they having great response from public and visitors allowed them to established their 2nd outlet at Taman Permas Jaya in year 1996 to strengthen their career.

While in year 2010, Ah Choon and wife grapped the opportunity to host and operate their owned yong tau foo specialized shop located at Taman Melodies named “Yong Tau Foo Ah Choon” again began their independent f&b career journey.  From there, Ah Choon introduced his own recipe to produce his yong tau foo inserted with chicken to replace pork and fish brings better taste and texture, also having great response from regulars enabled his restaurant been recognized by MalaysiaBest.my E-Media as one of the best in town at Johor Bahru.

Ah Choon’s second generation, eldest son Yeo Seng Chen who born locally in year 1993 and 2nd son Yeo Seng Tang with age of 19 years old both touched the industry since kids been helping parents in the restaurant, now been generation passed onto by father on their home made recipe, running their scope daily in the restaurant.
