‘Fried Prawn Mee’ an Singapore style traditional food being introduced into Malaysia market years ago having great response from locals also nowadays become one of the favourite option other than Penang Style Soup Prawn Mee in South Malaysia. Mr. Tee Chai Hua who born locally in year 1975 was the founder and together with wife Ms. Chris Tan Siew Ling age of 38 years old also Johorean both are the owners of the “Hua Ji Trading” restaurant introducing their Singapore Fried Prawn Mee and others home recipe in Johor.
Tee Chai Hua (Ah Hua) who with age of 39 years old recently, formerly in Construction Industry quit in 2001 then stepped into food and beverage industry at his age of 27 years old. In fact before began their f&b career, Ah Hua reached Singapore experienced and been generation passed the traditional Singapore Fried Prawn Mee recipe by his master named ‘Uncle’, afterwards returned to Johor Bahru with wife established their very first and owned food stall in ‘Wong Kok Kopitiam’ at Taman Daya selling specialized in fried prawn mee commenced their career journey spent 10 years exposed from year 2002 to 2011.
Subsequent to the great response from the public locals and been favouritely accpted by visitors enabled Ah Hua to further explore into specialized shoplot restaurant in year 2012 named “Hua Ji Trading” mee house presenting not only Singapore fried prawn mee but also introducing various home recipe menus to served their regulars and visitors better, also at Taman Daya, Johor Bahru.
In this specialized mee house, the top recommended surely will be their Signature Singapore Fried Prawn Mee which cannot missed when reached Johor Bahru. Fried mixture of yellow mee and rough rice noodle or ‘mee hun’ then stewed for few minutes with their soup base which boiled about 5 hours with prawn shells, then served topped with fresh prawn, squid, fish cake, veges, Lala, beansprout and egg brings an complete plate of exotic Singapore Fried Prawn Mee in town.
