One of the Malaysian Chinese Food representative “Bak Kut Teh” been more than hundred years founded in the country will also one of the world’s recognised exotic top food taken not only by locals but also visitors around the world.  The founder of the 41 years history “Kedai Makanan Bak Kut Teh”, Mr. Ng Kwang also known Ah Lek who born in year 1953 local origin, still serving his home made recipe bak kut teh operating together with family to 2nd generation at Johor Bahru.

Ng Kwang (Ah Lek) who with his age of 62 years old recently, stepped into the food and beverage industry since year 1973 at his age of only 20 years old began to introduce his home recipe bak kut teh running an food stall in the local town market or locally known formerly ‘Pasar Kia’ for about 3 years untill 1976.  Later on moved into the shoplot running a corner at Jalan Segget since year 1978 having great response from the market.  His lovely wife Madam Ee Lian Hua who born 1956 originated from Batu Pahat, Johor assisting Ah Lek in the career in 1970s operating till recent.

Subsequent to the great explosure in the food industry enabled Ah Lek exposed into Taman Johor Jaya established his very first specialized shop in Jalan Teratai began year 1993 named “Kedai Makanan Bak Kut Teh” or famously known Ah Lek Bak Kut Teh, ended his stall at Jalan Segget during 1995.  His second generation Ms. Danielle Ng Hui Kheng (eldest daugther) with age of 34 currently, touched the industry since teenagers helping in their restaurant, later on with husband Mr. Alex Tee Siew Leng born 1968 been fully joined the career more than ten years.  While Ah Lek’s youngest daugther Ms. Ng Hui Lynn only at her age of 28 also occupied in the industry ten years ago.
