“Yong Tau Foo” which is one of the traditional eatery by Hakka religious since thousand years ago around the world, been generation passed onto recent now famously taken by all religious throughout Malaysia.  Madam Huang Hwa Ching who born in Muar, Johor in year 1948 together with her son Mr. Sunny Tan born locally in Batu Pahat year 1977 and wife Madelyn Lim are the owners of the “Hua Kee Hakka Yong Tau Foo” introducing their mother’s (founder) home recipe traditional hakka yong tau foo.

Madam Huang or also known Ah Mei with her age of 66 years old recently, been having more than 50 years experience in cooking Hakka yong tau foo since her teenagers been generation passed by mother.  Ah Mei who married and went Hong Kong in year 1975, later on migrated to Singapore with family in year 1989, all the while exercising her traditional home recipe serving not only to family members but also friends and neighbours getting great response to strengthen her recipe.  She who grown up in a chinese herbal retailing family makes her to finally based in Batu Pahat, Johor assisting brother in their family chinese herbal shop since 2005, based Batu Pahat to recent.

Ah Mei’s son Sunny Tan who finished his high school and professional courses in Singapore stepped into the market at his age of 22, formerly was in Computer IT industry for about 8 years returned to Batu Pahat joined the chinese herbal industry for another five years befofe initially stepped into food and beverage industry.  Sunny’s interest in f&b career and extreme likes on his mother’s yong tau foo enabled him established their very first Hakka yong tau foo specialized shop together with mother Madam Huang and wife Madelyn, named “Hua Kee Hakka Yong Tau Foo” at Taman Bukit Pasir in year 2014 presenting his mother’s 50 years hand made & home recipe to the public and visitors.
