Soo Chye who with his age of 58 years old currently, been in Chinese Joystick Product industry more than 30 years having great interest in eatery initially stepped into the food and beverage industry since year 1994 at his age of 48.  Established his very first f&b curry fish head restaurant in Kluang Baru, Johor began his eatery career named “Restoran Patam” not only serving home recipe aluminium wrapped curry fish head but also various chinese cuisine under a roof.  Subsequent to the great response from the public enabled them to expanded into two shoplots after 2 years in 2006.

While his daughter Tracy Soo who born locally in 1982 been touched the industry since 2004 helping in the restaurant, then stepped into the f&b industry to take over to operate the restaurant in year 2009.  Madam Wong too who all the while helping husband in their Chinese Joystick Trading been stepped into the restaurant running with daughter in year 2007 untill recent.  In order to expose further, they been operating an outlet at Batu Pahat in year 2007 and then another at Johor Bahru in year 2010.

In this curry fish restaurant, the founder’s top recommended in menus surely be their Signature Aluminium Wrapped Curry Fish Head which also with option of fish meats usually red grouper fish selected.  Home recipe curry paste made up from 19 secret ingredients been mixed with lady finger, dried beancurd, eggplant, onions and long bean together with raw fish head or meats wrapped then roasted for about 18 minutes before served.  This brings a very traditional outstanding curry fish which taste exotic and spicy you must try when reached Kluang, Johor.

Moreover, the Claypot Salted Fish with Pork also one of the recommended in the restaurant.  Pork belly cutted into slices then mixed cooked with quality salted fish, onions and ginger slices poured into their 4 ingredients home recipe sause brings the salted and tasty eatery into mouth.  Others, the Golden Squid also you never regret after taken, especially the crispy bites.  Squids been deep fried then cooked with butter milk and salted egg yolk before served.
