The founder Madam Yong who born in year 1951, formerly in Agriculture Industry initially stepped into the food industry in year 1970s began her home made fish ball production and local supplied in home town Yong Peng, Johor for about 20 years with assisting by her six children.

While the second generation, Alan Tan who with his age of 45 years old currently, stepped into the f&b industry since his age of 18 years old in 1987 reached Singapore been recruited by the “Tang Chen Restaurant”(pronouns) began as kitchen trainee spent about 3 years experienced in the career, then reached Kuala Lumpur in the end of 1990s further his explosure.  Later on in year 2001 with mother and sisters established their very first fish ball retail specialized shop in Malacca named “Yong Peng Fish Ball” at Melaka Raya.

Another will be Alan Tan’s recipe Signature Curry Laksa which made from their home made laksa paste which fried for six hours with his 24 ingredients recipe mixture, then served topped with fresh cockles, dried beancurd, fu chuk and fish ball.  Taken mixed into their home recipe sambal will brings the best exotic taste with slight spicy, the best eatery in town, also the top selling in the restaurant.

Moreover, they introducing their Stewed Mix with options of chicken, duck, pork, chicken egg, beancurd and etc.  Stewed for 2 hours with their 40 years experience chef’s recipe made up from more than ten ingredients mixture brings an authentic food you cannot missed when stepped into “Yong Peng Fish Ball” in Malacca, especially the meat texture when bites.  Nonetheless as side order, must try their in-house Fried Fish Cake taken tipping on their sauce provided also among the most wanted by their regulars and visitors.  Some selection of Yong Tau Fu also prepared insided with their fresh home made fish paste being favourite choices by their customers.
