LIM NEOH HOCK BEGAN HIS “HAND MADE PAN ME”, RECENTLY EXPOSED INTO SPECIALIZED SHOP IN PULAU PINANG
The hand made flur noodles known “Pan Mee” in Middle & North Malaysia, and called by South Malaysian the “Mee Hun Kueh” frequently practised century ago mainly by Chinese religious also the favourites by locals nowadays having great explosure throughout the nation.
The Penang originated Mr. Lim Neoh Hock who began his Pan Mee food stall formerly been recently introducing his recipe in a specialized noodle house in Pulau Pinang. The founder Lim Neoh Hock who born locally in year 1960 together with wife Ms. Kung Phiak Imm (born 1962) are the initial owners of the “IU Win Pan Mee Cabin” serving their hand made Pan Mee noodles to the public in Bayan Baru, Penang.
Mr. Lim Neoh Hock who with his age of 54 years old currently, was in Kopitiam trading for more than 10 years since 1980s initially stepped into the Pan Mee field at his age of 46 years old. In 2006, Neoh Hock been passed onto the pan mee recipe from one of his best friend who returned from Sabah enabled Neoh Hock running his first pan mee food stall inside his own kopitiam began the career named “Sabah Pan Mee”, been assisted by wife Phiak Imm.
Circumstances to the ending of his kopitiam, Neoh Hock in year 2009 moved his pan mee stall into the ‘Mandarin Coffee Shop’ at Island Glades, Georgetown continued his explosure in the industry serving his recipe pan mee, recently still running by his younger daughter. Subsequent to the great response from the public and wishing to expose further, Neoh Hock successfully established his very 1st pan mee specialized shop named “IU Win Pan Mee Cabin” in the end of year 2012 at Bayan Baru, together with his lovely wife Phiak Imm.
