H’NG FAMILY INTRODUCING THEIR 2 GENERATION AUTHENTIC RECIPE NOODLES SELECTIONS IN “TE WEI NOODLE HOUSE”
Found in the Malaysia Historic City Penang, the two generation traditional noodles soup selections recently practised in specialized shop by H’ng family sisters and brother exposed their father’s recipes at Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang being one of the e-media food recognition in the nation.
The Penang local originated Mr. H’ng Buan Long who born in year 1946, was the founder of the local well known “Te Wei Noodle Restaurant”, recently being generation passed onto his second generation son Alex H’ng Chee Wan (born 1981) and daughters Jessy H’ng Per Hua (born 1974) and Cass H’ng Per Chen (born 1975) introducing their home authentic eatery to the public along Jalan Sg. Nibong, Penang.
Founder, H’ng Buan Long at his 68 years old currently, who with his more than 50 years experience in the industry, initially stepped into the career since his age of 11 only in year 1957 helping elder brother in their noodle food stall at Burma Road, Georgetown untill 1970s. Later on Buan Long established his first and own mobile soya drink stall along Sungai Dua and Bandar Bayan Baru, being assisted by wife untill recent.
In year 2006, Buan Long began his another noodle food stall beside his soya drink along Jalan Nipah, Sungai Dua introduced his home recipe noodle soup selections with named “Te Wei Noodle”, where the branding began, been assisted by his sons and helping by daughhters. Subsequent to the great response on his traditional authentic noodle soup by the locals, enabled his 2nd generation Alex, Jessy and Cass been passed onto exposed since year 2013, then successfully moved into specialized retail after a year in 2014 at Sg. Dua officially named “Te Wei Noodle Restaurant” continue presenting their exotic menus.
In this noodle house, the top recommended in menus will be their home recipe Special Tom Yam Fried Fish Mee. Clear soup base will prepared daily in 10 hours boiled with pork and chicken bones, then mixed cooked with tom yam paste added into their 4 ingredients mixtures. Served with instant noodles and topped with deep fried fish fillet as the favourites brings the best sour and spicy taste you must try, especially for those who likes spicy.
Secondly will be their Special Meat Mee, also one of the top selling in the noodle house. Prepared in their in-house pork and chicken soup base, served topped with their hand made marinated pork minced in 4 ingredients mixture and sided with fish balls bring an exotic traditional authentic bowl of pork meat noodle you never regret after consumed.
Moreover, one of the signature in this restaurant will be their Special QQ Meat Mee Soup which prepared in home made fish noodles or known “QQ Meat Mee”.
