TRY THE “PING PONG” WANTAN DUMPLING CARRIED IN YOYO FLAVOR CAFE IN THE NORTH @ PERAK
It is commonly found Wantan Noodle restaurants and stalls throughout the nation, but in the North part of Malaysia the Perak State we found the interesting “Ping Pong” Wantan Noodles introduced by Jimmy in the “Yoyo Flavor” cafe at Bercham, Ipoh also presenting the combination of local Chinese, Japanese and Western cuisines under a roof.
The local Perak originated Mr. Jimmy Liew Guat Pin who born in year 1969, is the recent owner of the famous “Yoyo Flavor” cafe at Taman Medan Bercham, Perak serving his home recipe various cuisines and bubble tea selections to the locals and visitors, being recognised as one of the best eating house in town 2015.
Jimmy Liew who at his age of 46 years old currently, initially stepped into the f&b career since year 1990 at his 21st when further his studies in Japan as part-time kitchen trainee during school off and holidays, experienced about 5 years there touched the Japanese and French cuisines.
In year 1995, Jimmy Liew returned to hometown Perak exposed his profession career in the Machinery & Finishing Manufacturing Industries untill year 2003 dissolved due to economic crisis, allowed him to re-stepped into the f&b industry in year 2012 in Kuala Lumpur running his bubble teas career named “HiTea” began at Cheras, later on exposed into another 3 outlets in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
While in year 2014, Jimmy Liew sucessfully established his very first and owned cafe name “Yoyo Flavor” at Bercham, Ipoh introducing his various authentic home recipes menu selections in Chinese, Western, Japanese and Taiwanese Bubble Teas choices in manner. And bringing relaxing environment atmosphere to his visitors when dinning in the cafe.
In this eating house, Jimmy’s first top recommended in menus surely will be their Ping Pong Wantan Noodles which served either with spinach or egg made noodles, brings exotic mee’s textures in bites. And also the taste when noodles served mixed with their homemade sauce from mixtures of mushroom, onions, ginger shredded, pork minced and pork oily. Sided with bowl of their handmade big size wantan or called boiled pork dumpling prepared mixed inside with fresh prawn and pork minced you must try when reached Ipoh, Perak.
Secondly will be their Chicken Chop with Veges Sause, which is one of their signature eatery. Boneless chicken drumstick selected, marinated with 8 spices then pan grilled for about 15 minutes, served above the mushroom sauce, topped with their in-house veges paste sauce and sided with potato chips and vege salad you never regret after consumed.
Another will be in their chinese cuisine menu, the Cantonese Fried Uton Mee which also one of the cafe’s top seller on Jimmy’s home recipe. Grassnoodles made from rice powder flur fried mixed with prawn, chicken slice and veges brings very exotic taste you cannot aside.
Moreover, Jimmy also introduced their Signature Lamb Cutted, boneless in pieces you cannot find in other restaurants. Lamb meats prepared in small cutted slices marinated an hour with their home 8 ingredients recipe, then served in grilled poured onto flavour spices brings unbelievable and the best spicy and tasty eatery in town.
