The Pahang originated Mr. En Hon Chun who born in Bentong year 1966 was the founder cum Chief Chef, together with his lovely wife born in Alor Seta Ms. Chee Yen Choo both are the recent owners of the local famous “Restoran Chin Eng” or named “Fu Hwa Seafood” by locals. Presenting their various authentic home recipe selections at Alor Setar, Kedah.
En Hon Chun or known Ah Sang who at his age of 49 years old currently, touched the industry since kids helping grandfather in their family eating house at Bentong, Pahang. Initially stepped into the industry since his age of 13 years old in 1979, recruited himself into the “Apollo Seafood Restaurant” began as kitchen trainee in Pahang. Then in year 1983 reached Puchong, Selangor to further his exposure spent 8 years there before back to home state in 1991 continued his employment as chinese cuisine chef.
While in year 1996, Ah Sang being assisted by his wife Yen Choo running their very first owned food stall along Jalan Putra, Alor Setar in 2 locations subsequently in total 12 years exposed in the career. With the great response from public, Ah Sang successfully in year 2008 estalished his seafood restaurant at Simpang Kuala named “Fu Hwa Seafood” further serving his indifferent taste selections to the visitors.
In Fu Hwa restaurant, the founder Ah Sang’s top recommended in menus will be their Steamed Sweeten Vege Fish. Local sea white snapper fish selected, steamed for minutes, then served poured onto their 7 recipes sauce and topped with deep fried sweeten veges brings very exotic taste you must have a try when reached Alor Setar, Kedah.
Secondly will be their Fu Hwa Curry Mee, prepared using egg made wantan mee which is one of their signature in menus. Home fried curry paste for 4 hours with combination of more than 10 spices ingredients, then cooked with wantan mee insided with lady finger, veges, beansprout and chicken will be the best eatery or curry mee neither found elsewhere you will never regret after tasted.
Another will be their famously known “Kon Lou Mee”, which is their regulars most wanted in the restaurant. Home made sweet & sour sauce stir fried with pork or pork ribs, then served topped onto the wantan mee prepared mixed with in-house soy sauce brings very outstanding taste you cannot aside, really indifferent from others.
Moreover, the Belacan Honey Chicken also among the recommended signature in Fu Hwa. Chicken cutted in pieces, deep fried then fried with their homemade recipe “belacan” paste followed dry fried seconds with honey brings sweet and exotic spicy taste, is one of the best eatery in town.
