Easily found everywhere those seafood restaurants in our nation Malaysia practised on their respective recipes.  Here in Perak, we found and recognised one of the recommended chinese cuisine eating house “Uncle Lim Seafood” introducing the authentic local “Amur Sturgeon fish” served in various eateries selection to the locals and visitors at Tanjung Malim.

The Alor Setar, Kedah originated Mr. Lim Seo Hong who born in year 1952 was the founder, together with wife Madam Tan Chui Lian are the immediate owners of the “Uncle Lim Seafood Restaurant” presenting not only seafood but also their signature chinese cuisine recipes under a roof by the Chief Chef, Beh Chew Hong (born 1978) being recognised in year 2015.

Lim Seo Hong who at his retirement age of 63 years old currently, was in Engineering Industry for nearly 50 years initially stepped into the f&b field since year 2012 at his 60 bodied-up with partner established his very first and owned seafood restaurant named “Fosil” strongly introduced the “Amur Sturgeon” which feeded by Seo Hong itself at Tanjung Malim, Perak but ended after a year.

While in year 2013, with the great interest in eatery and foreseen the market opportunity in the industry enabled Seo Hong to continue the restaurant, and converted into seafood & chinese cuisine restaurant officially known “Uncle Lim Seafood Restaurant”.  Which is the recent location at Taman Universiti, Tanjung Malim.  Then joined by Chef Beh in early 2015, who stepped into the career began in Australia experienced years in chinese cuisine field further their exposure in a bodied.

In this restaurant, the founder’s first top recommended in menus surely will be their Signature Amur Sturgeon Fish series which can be served in 6 to 7 recipes with prior order.  Among the favourite by their regulars will be prepared in soup, boiled with Sturgeon’s fish head and tail parts steam-cooked with chinese herbals for 5 hours you must have a try when reached Tanjung Malim.  Also neither found elsewhere in the town.

Secondly will be their Nyonya Steamed Fish, which is one of their visitor’s most wanted.    River “Patin” fish commonly selected, steamed then served poured onto their home recipe nyonya sauce made from more than 10 ingredients mixture brings sour & spicy taste you cannot aside.

Another will be their Smoked River Prawn with Pumpkin Sauce, is among the recommended by Chef Beh.  Fresh river head prawn or locally known “Udang Galah” selected, seconds over boiled-oil, then poured onto their homemade pumpkin sauce which prepared boiled with chicken and served topped with raw fish eggs will be the best eatery you will never regret after tasted.  Especially the prawn meats texture itself and the exotic pumpkin sauce taste when swallowed.

Moreover, their Signature Soup which prepared insided with China imported plant’s roots (as chinese herbal) not frequently practised in others throughout the nation.  Local feeded black skin chicken selected, steamed 3 hours with 4 herbals mixture and also added into dried scallop brings very authentic soup favourite by their visitors.

The last but not least introduced by the owner will be their German Pork Knuckle with Mongolia sauce.  Whole pork knuckle stewed 90 minutes with 8 spices mixture, followed with deep fried then served poured onto their home recipe mongolia sauce added into black pepper you cannot missed when stepped into the “Uncle Lim Seafood Restaurant” at Tanjung Malim, Perak.
