KHAI LI INTRODUCING HIS EXCLUSIVE & PREMIUM WESTERN FOOD AND FRENCH DESSERT MENUS IN “MIST CAFE” @ KEDAH
There are lots of locals western food and dessert restaurants throughout the country serving on respective recipes to suit the consumer’s demand as commercialize. Here in the north, at Kedah we recognised one of the most recommended western & dessert house “MIST Cafe” presenting their exclusive and premium menus to the locals.
The Kedah originated Mr. Tan Khai Li who born 1991 in Alor Setar was the founder and immediate owner of the famously known “MIST Cafe” western food & dessert house being assisted by his lovely wife Connie Wong Xi Li. Serving most of their home recipe eateries in 2 outlets at Alor Setar, being recognised as one of the best western restaurant in town year 2015.
Tan Khai Li who at his age of only 24 recently, initially was in Herbal & Ingredient Industry entered since age of 14 years old enabled him to touched and experienced much in eateries making ingredients mixture, especially focusing on chinese & western dessert recipes. With the knowledge hold 5 years in the career, and the great interest in eatery, also foreseen the market opportunity in the field allowed Khai Li finally stepped into the f&b industry at his age of 19th.
In year 2010, Khai Li began his very first and owned western cafe along Jalan Putra, Alor Setar named the “Dessert House Cafe” introducing his homemade western food and dessert menus to the locals and visitors. Then in order to upgrade and expose further in the career, Khai Li in the mid year 2014 converted his cafe into more premium and exclusive cuisine officially registered as “MIST Cafe”, where he began to emphasise the food quality and more onto french dessert presentation. And another outlet at Taman Tandop in the end 2014.
In MIST Cafe, the founder’s top recommended in menus will be their Paprika Fried Chicken Chop which among favourites by customers. Italian spagetti cooked, prepared poured onto their in-house more than 20 ingredients mixture sauce then served topped with either grilled or deep fried boneless chicken fillet brings in overall spicy, sweet & sour taste you must have a try.
Secondly will be their Salmon Aglio Olio, which also one of the top seller in the restaurant. Imported salmon fish fillet prepared in grilled, then topped onto home cooked pasta served mixed with their fried home sauce made from 6 recipes brings slight exotic spicy taste you cannot aside.
Another will be their most signature Double Chicken Chop, or locally known as “Chicken Burger” which prepared with no breads. Boneless chicken drumstick fillet deep fried with recipe flur, served as 2 chicken chop in between with mashed potato, tomato slice, fried egg, veges and mayonnaise sauce seems like taking a huge burger you will never regret after tasted.
Moreover, there are also various of western or french dessert to be recommended such as their Three Layer Plate which mostly found in more classic western house or hotels taken as hi-tea favourites. Served with combination of fine biscuits, sweeties, fruits and ice-cream, sided with hot chocolate in options of Pepper Mint, Black Chocolate or White Chocolate. Taken tipping onto the flame chocolate such like taking “Steamboat”, called “Chocolate Steamboat” by their visitors.
Nonetheless, the owner also introduced their signature cold dessert Mixed Ice which prepared in flavour of strawberry, manggo, kiwi, honeydew and dragon fruit, served rounded by homemade jellies you cannot missed when stepped into the “MIST Cafe” at Alor Setar, Kedah.
