Ong Beng Hui or known Ah Hui who at his age of 46 years old currently, was been years in the Manufacturing Management career initially stepped into the food & beverage industry after he left his professional in Kemaman, Terengganu in year 2000. Then in year 2001, at his age of 32 years old, Ah Hui together with his wife Sek Kim returned to Kuantan established their very 1st and own restaurant along Jalan Beserah.
With the great interest in eatery, interest in chefing and foreseen the market opportunity in the f&b industry. Ah Hui successfully began his career in the industry, running the “Restoran Hai Tian” (later registered as Restoran HT) in Kuantan town introducing most of their signature dishes where he touched the profession as kitchen trainee in his restaurant, and now being as helping chef recently.
Emphasising customer’s service, management control and food maintenance for the past 15 years enabled his restaurant being highly recommended by not only locals public but also tourists from around the world, recognised as one of the best “Top Choice 2015″ in Pahang.
In Hai Tian, the founder’s top recommended in menus will be their top seller Coconut Prawn, which sale up to hundred units daily. Sea “Ming” prawn selected, deep fried, then cooked with their home sauce made from 8 recipes mixture, and served in a steamed fresh coconut brings spicy, sweet and exotic taste you must have a try when reached Kuantan, Pahang.
