NOT ONLY IN THE NORTH, THERE IS ALSO A RECOGNISED CHINESE THAI CUISINE RESTAURANT “SEE YOU” IN THE EAST COAST
It is commonly found and lots of delicious authentic chinese thai cuisine restaurants running in the north of Malaysia serving their differrent signature dishes to the public. But in the East Coast, Pahang we found and recognised one of the local famous chinese & thai restaurant “See You” introducing their home recipes to the locals and visitors in Kuantan, Pahang since year 2009.
The local Pahang originated Mr. Cheong Ah Loi who born in year 1957 at Raub, was the initial founder and recent immediate owner of the “See You Restaurant” along Jalan Dato’ Lim Hoe Lek presenting their combination of chinese and thai cuisines recipes under a roof. Being assisted by wife and sister in-law going into their 6th years exposure in the field.
Mr. Cheong Ah Loi who at his age of 58 years old currently, is in the Paiping Engineering Industry for about 45 years initially stepped into the food & beverage industry since year 2009 at his age of 52. Having great interest in eatery and foreseen the market opportunity in f&b career made Ah Loi decided to began with his business partner, who was the restaurant’s former main chef, sucessfully established their very first and owned chinese seafood cuisine restaurant named “See You Restaurant” or locally known “Loong Seng”(pronouns) in Kuantan.
With certain circumstances, Ah Loi fully took over the restaurant after a year in 2010 and recruited his sister in-law Ah Fung, who is a Thai Cuisine’s chef, and another Chinese Cuisine’s chef Da Tao to continue the retaurant’s career where the combination of chinese thai recipes began. Also being assisted and managed by wife untill recent.
In “See You Restaurant”, the founder Ah Loi’s first top recommended in menus will be their Signature Curry Fish Head. Deep sea red fish head selected, boiled and cooked with their homemade curry paste made from more than 10 ingredients mixture then served boiled in claypot mixed into vegetables you must try. Especially the exotic taste and sticky curry sauce when swallowed into mouth.
Secondly will be their Thai Steamed Chicken, which is one of the restaurant’s regular customers most wanted. Local village chicken commonly prepared in cutted pieces, steamed with Thai Style soy beans sauce which made in-house brings sweet & spicy taste, also the chicken freshness eatery you never regret after taken. Only in “See You Restaurant”.
Another will be their Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs or locally known “Fo Yim Ribs”, which among the restaurant’s top seller recently. Local fresh pork ribs selected, deep fried seconds in boiled oil then served after fast stired with their chef’s home recipe sweet & sour sauce made with few spices combination brings exotic sweet and appertizing eatery you cannot aside.
Moreover, the owner also introduced their famous Salted Egg Squid which is one of the local’s favourite eatery recently around the nation. Fresh sea squids prepared in cutted slices, deep fried with home recipe flour then served after seconds stir fried with salted egg yolk paste, very tasty and crispy in bites you cannot missed when stepped into the “See You Restaurant” or known “Loong Seng” in Kuantan, Pahang.
