In this 21st century, it is commonly found around the world including our nation Malaysia, those cafes and coffee houses conceptual restaurants running into market on trend with respective recipes.  Here in Bentong, a town in East Coast Pahang we found to recognise one of the best place “Gathering Cafe” came into with the combination of Asian & Local cuisines since 2015.

Both the local originated Mr. Ronald Shin Siew Hong who born in year 1988, together with his best friend Mr. Lee Kok Loong (born 1988) were the initial founders and immediate owners of the recently well known recommended “Gathering Cafe” along Jalan Tras, Bentong introducing all their home recipes selection to the locals and visitors.  Is the best place and best choice for friends & family gathering.

Ronald Shin Siew Hong who at his age of 27 years old currently, is in Banking Industry, formerly been touched the f&b career as part-timer during his further studies in England foreseen the market opportunity in the f&b industry finally stepped into the career in year 2015 at hometown Bentong.

While Lee Kok Loong who also at his 27th recently, is a Sales & Marketing Personnel, also been touched the food industry in year 2014 as helper assisting in a vegetarian restaurant at hometown, all the while having interest in eatery.  Later bodied-up with best friend Ronald Shin both having same vision to have their own eating house, successfully established their very 1st and owned restaurant named “Gathering Food & Beverages” in May 2015 at Pusat Perniagaan Mutiaramas Gemilang, Bentong Pahang serving most of their homemade eateries.

In this Gathering Cafe, the founder’s top recommended in menus will be their Homemade “Golden QQ Ball” which most wanted by regulars.  Prepared with sweet potatoes smashed into paste and balled-up in shape with combination of 2 recipe flours & sugar, then freezed-up and served after deep fried brings fantastic crispy & chewing in bites and exotic taste eatery you must try when reached Bentong, Pahang.

Secondly will be their “Teppan Chicken Ramen”, is also among the favourite noodles selection in “Gathering”.  Handmade noodles (Ramen) imported from Taiwan being selected, prepared in stir fried, then served on sizzling pan sided with chicken egg, veges, and their authentic deep fried chicken brest meats which marinated with 5 spices brings excellent combination you cannot aside.  Especially the noodles and chicken meats texture in bites, found neither elsewhere other than in “Gathering”.

Another will be among their best Pancake Series, the signature “Smoked Chicken Pancake”, an eatery with combination of Taiwanese and Local recipes.  Prepared with homemade recipe flour pancake, rolled with chicken egg layer, then served insided with smoked chicken ham brings exotic taste and bites texture into mouth you never regret after taken, only in “Gathering”.

While in Western menus, their “Minced Pork Burger” will be among the visitor’s favourite.  Homemade breads selected, prepared layer-insided with 5-recipes marinated pork minced meat, topped with fried chicken egg, tomato slices and cucumber slices, and served topped with their in-house homemade sauce from mixtures of mayonnaise, tomato sauce & another 6 ingredients brings sweet, sour & spicy taste you will like it.

Nonetheless, the owners also introduced the “Taro Mix” which best among Dessert corner.  Ice-beverage served with fresh soya milk mixed into grass jelly, red beans, pearl, taro, sweet potato ball brings appertising cooling selection you must taste.  Also their homemade ice-cream with more than 10 choices, especially the “Musang King Ice-cream” you cannot missed when stepped into the “Gathering Cafe” at Bentong, Pahang.
