THE RECOGNISED “S CUISINE” BRING INTO BENTONG, PAHANG BY RESTORER F&B GROUP, RECIPES BY “CHEF KANG”

One more exclusive chinese cuisine eating house brought into the market by the “Restorer” F&B Group of Company to bring “Taste” into the Bentong town, Pahang since year 2013 with authentic signature home recipes carried by Chef Kang being recognised as one of the best restaurant in 2015 in East Coast with the vision to bring the locals real “Taste”.
The local Bentong originated Mr. Lee Yoke Leong who is the Managing Director of Restorer Group, also the founder of “S Cuisine (Bentong)” with the assistance from their group’s Executive Chef Mr. Ang Song Kang, in year 2013 successfully established the S Cuisine (Bentong) Chinese Restaurant along Jalan Chui Yin, Bentong introducing all their signature menus to the public in manner and with Mr. Lee’s vision to bring what is “Taste” back to his hometown Bentong, having great response from visitors.
Mr. Ang Song Kang or famously known as “Chef Kang” who initially stepped into the f&b industry since year 1979 at his 14 of age in Singapore recruited himself into a chinese restaurant at Sembawang began as kitchen trainee & helper spent few years there. Later on being given opportunity to reach Hong Kong at his 18 years old in 1983, enabled him to further expose in the career and to strengthen his profession as chef stayed 11 years there, where Chef Kang deeply experienced the “Cantonese Recipes”.
While in year 1995, Chef Kang again stepped into Singapore and been joined the local well known “Lei Garden” f&b group positioned as Main Chef, also been offered into the East Ocean Organisation in Singapore before he ran his first food stall at Havelock Road in 2002 named “Canton Wok by Chef Kang”, then moved to Serangoon Road after a year and lastly ended-up at Joochiat Road in year 2008 which is the place where Mr. Lee Yoke Leong met Chef Kang and being attracted by his recipes and personality brought them into a body recently.
In S Cuisine, their Executive Chef Kang’s first recommended among signatures will be the Claypot Yam Coconut Pork Ribs. Prepared in about 20-30 minutes boiled in claypot insided with yam paste, pork spare ribs, poured into slight coconut milk then served topped with deep fried yam sticks brings the best combination you must try. Especially the delicious sticky yam paste into mouth with the ribs freshness.
Secondly will be the French Smoked-Cheese Clam with Portugese Sauce, which most wanted among recommended cannot be found elsewhere in Malaysia other than S Cuisine (Bentong). This exclusive dish prepared with their in-house chicken soup base mixed with slight curry paste, carnation milk, onions, garlic, veges and mushroom shredded then served topped with baked cheese you will never regret after tasted. One of the best eatery in town.
Another will be their home recipe Fried Belly Pork with Garlic by Chef Kang, which prepared in Teoh Chew style. Fresh local pork belly selected, prepared in slices then stir fried with garlic and their home recipes mixture brings exotic salty taste you cannot aside. It is one of the Teoh Chew religious’s authentic traditional home dish served in S Cuisine, not frequently found recently in our nation.
Moreover, their Fresh Steamed Fish with Olive Seeds also among the visitor’s favourite differ from others. Being recommended using river fish named “Kerai King”, prepared in 13 minutes steamed with olive seeds and topped with some pork slices brings very fantastic fish freshness taste you need to experience. Especially the original soup sauce from the fish itself swallowed into mouth and the best fish meats texture & smoothness in bites.
Nonetheless, Chef Kang also introduced their Fried Scallop with Hawthorn Paste which among the signature fine dinning cuisine selection. Scallop served coated with their homemade sweet & sour recipe sauce really brings appertising & exotic taste you cannot missed when stepped into the “S Cuisine (Bentong)” chinese cuisine restaurant at Bentong, Pahang.
